Discussion: Trump Now Believes In Climate Change — The Kind That 'Changes Both Ways'

She’s trimmer than Trump now.

Both ways, huh? Bullshit. NASA begs to differ…and Lordy, has anyone seen who tRump picked to lead NASA? What’s more amazing is how they’re still allowed to keep exploring the science behind all the myriad ways we’re destroying the earth considering who the Rethugs in the Senate confirmed to lead that agency. The final vote to confirm this jackass was 50-49 and guess who cast the deciding vote? Former Senator Jeff Flake, that’s who, who changed his “very concerned”, aka as a “Susan Collins”, to vote for the prick.

Jim Bridenstine was a third term House Republican with no science background, is somewhat of climate change denialist, and his other political views are toxic to any agency in our government.

Btw, the EPA has hidden all mention of climate change on their website and by the time tRump leaves office will be advocating for even less regulation than they’ve already done on a host of environmental issues…which of course totally runs afoul of their mandate to protect citizens from polluters, both big and small.

In response to Prince Charles’ urging, Trump apparently bragged to the British royal about how “crystal clean” America’s water and climate are.

Hey next time you come visit PA, why don’t you take a few sips out of the Susquehanna? You could prove your point and solve all our problems in a day.*

* Maybe two. It might take more than a day for the super clean water from a river it’s barely safe enough to eat a fish from to kill you.

He is falling in to the same, tired adjectives, repeating and then going back again to the well. One thing to keep in mind, he really doesn’t travel well from what we have seen. So coupled with his various issues, fatigue is a possible issue. For a more robust individual it would not be a factor, but for a person who is claimed to be in the best-est of shape, it appears to quickly be draining.

That ship has sailed, sorry.

Our climate really is much cleaner since we’ve implemented the GOP plan to wash all our temperatures before we use them.

“addressing climate change should be a mutual effort between big countries, not something the U.S. should have to take the lead on.”

We could think about “America First” and lead the world, but ho hum, the Koch brothers want to die even richer than they already are.

During the entire conversation with Prince Charles he was thinking “How could that guy have married such an old ugmo - my wife is hotter.”

Yes, when your income depends on not grasping it.

In Finland, they rake the forests, and this lets a cool breeze permeate the entire country.
Seriously, though, I don’t think Trump ever had the brains to understand the concept of global warming.

Can you imagine what Prince Charles was thinking as he talked to him?

stupid people over 50 who started Earth Day, Greenpeace, organic agriculture…
I don’t see any generation giving up their smart phones ( made with coal tan - highly pollutive extractive industry using nearly slave labor) any time soon, or their right to have as many children as they want

He listened very carefully to Prince Charles…until he didn’t, which happened about 7 seconds into the Prince’s talk.

What frightens me is applying this same critical thinking to world affairs.

Oh, he already did with North Korea. And, he swallowed a turd.

As a close friend and Marine officer (now in reserves) who is still read in at high levels reminds me at least once a month that we don’t need to fear North Korean missiles as much as we need to fear their efforts to take down our critical infrastructure via cyber attacks.

I must admit, there’s a certain frisson associated with waking up each morning knowing that the bellowing maniac in the Whitehouse could do something completely mad and whimsical and thereby encompass our doom.

Obviously weather changes, and it typically changes “both ways” each and every day. Where I live it gets warmer in the afternoon and cooler in the evening, so there you go. However, the issue is climate, not weather.

For someone with such a big brain, you’d think he would know the difference between an instance of a random variable (weather) and its probability distribution (climate). But I guess not.

Of course. There’s some very fine weather on both sides…
