The only way a company makes “no new deals” during a period of four years is if it shuts down business entirely.

So everyone in a huge real estate/resort venture just maintains the status quo for the next four years? If you work in any division that has “development” as one of its missions you just say “No thank you” to everything that comes across your desk? What if a restaurant terminates its lease at one of your premier resorts or hotels? Wouldn’t replacing that restaurant involve negotiating a new deal with another restaurant? A business of Trump’s size negotiates a new “deal” every damned day concerning some aspect of its operations somewhere. WTF?

It’s a little bit horrifying that all of us are starting to be able to “speak” Trump. At this point, we realize that the unspoken is more important than the spoken. For example when he said “No new deals will be done” the unspoken was probably “by me from the oval office” or “that I announce in a press conference” or “because I’ll be busy polishing Putin’s shoes, but I’ll have enough time to tell my idiot sons exactly what I want” or, “I won’t have to do any more deals after the executive orders that I sign that gives me control of everything.”
Who believes this? Oh my, slow learners!
