I think Vicente Fox’s initial response remains the general attitude. The only people who’ve ever submitted to Trump’s bullying so far are GOP lawmakers, as far as I can tell.
Perhaps “We” could pay to build a wall on Mexico’s southern border to keep those people out of Mexico so they can’t get to “U.S.” ???

Don’t worry - he’s an incredible, unbelievable (literally) deal maker. And he will soon - in a few weeks, we’ll see - use his very, very beautiful businessman deal making skillz to get Mexico to pay all of the money back with an interest rate so high that it will be unbelievable. People will have never seen an interest rate that high. And all that money from interest will pay for the wall! See?

Mexico (the state and its companies) can profit two ways as a result of Drumpf stupidity.
First, by collecting bounties by detaining migrants crossing Mexican territory and second, through sales of cement to border wall contractors. A little know fact is that here is a paucity of cement plants on the U.S. side of the border.
However, such isn’t the case on the Mexican side of the border. Therefore if congress were to fully or significantly fund the ungreat drumpf wall, mainly Mexican cement producers will be positioned (geographically) to supply the hundreds of thousands of yards of cement necessary to build concrete structures.
Trump’s stupid, racist base, will stick it to the Mexicans by causing Americans to pay higher prices for Mexican goods through tariffs (or is that off the table?) and funneling money to Mexico through US payments of bounties (who is going to verify the number of migrants that Mexico actually detained or turned back?) and billions of infrastructure dollars funneled to Mexican companies.
So, under Trump’s plan, Mexico gets US infrastructure dollars for a wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for, corporate revenue and jobs.
If that’s Trump’s idea of winning, I can see why his casinos filed for bankruptcy.
