So Trump is extorting the South Koreans because he wasn’t invited to the party? Yes, Donald, it was a snub; and they are just going to keep on coming. You’ve burned bridges with allies and emboldened your adversaries. Ask your corrupt evangelical buddies about how bad things can get if your are Left Behind.
In a mirror universe inside Donald Trump’s thick skull where has a plausible shot at getting North Korea to give up its nukes and John Bolton would agree to the deal. It won’t happen in this universe, but you try to tell the Great Dealmaker that, and try to tell him he’s being played. Anyway, South Korea would like a say in the matter, because it’s of some importance to them, but screw you, losers, if I pull this off I might not be impeached and run out of office “like a dog,” so you have no voice and your concerns are not mine. It’s literally insane.

In a horrible nightmare mirror universe where Donald Trump is president.
It’s like he enjoys squeezing so much he deploys it against everyone whether it makes sense or not; not just a desire for power but a genuine pleasure in exercising it, in making others squirm. He may actually believe it’s a way to force S. Korea into some kind of compliance with whatever he and N. Korea work out, who knows, but I think he just likes it and it’s really all he knows how to do anyway.
And now he can do it internationally—at least to allies, the ones he’s not scared of.
I note the DOW dropped about 148 points from the day’s high during and after Trump’s rambling speech in OH. This wobbly answer on trade might be a reason why. (DOW still up for the day at over 300 pts though fwiw).
And it looks like that funny little bump he had was random noise. He’s back down where he was over at 538 after three polls came in that had him in the 30s.
All the countries in our world need to cut Donnie Dump Fuck out of any and all deals until he understands nobody loves him.
Trump noted the “rhetoric has calmed down” with North Korea, but added he may hold up the first trade agreement concluded by his administration, “because it’s a very strong card and I want to make sure everyone is treated fairly.”
How is “everyone treated fairly” if he reneges or changes the agreement with South Korea to get something from North Korea?!?
Someone told him that South Korea has genetically engineered magic beans that will grow into $1.3 trillion worth of infrastructure.
how is it that this a-hole is so colossally stupid, and yet so many people still don’t notice it?
