He was accompanied by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, and Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), according to the pool report.
It was nice the First Lady could accompany him on the trip.Wednesday afternoon is her standing bikini wax appointment.
OK OK…we dislike the man, but this was the right thing to do. Although why Ivanka went along is a little odd. But this was a proper Presidential action. And an occasion for dignity not snark.

No snark for this. For the family’s sake I hope he can muster a couple of minutes’ worth of dignity and regard for other human beings. I hope he can pay his respects and then keep his damn mouth shut about himself. But then I hope for a lot of things.
President Trump looks very proper and appropriate and the First Lady Melania Trump looks very elegant, somber in the blue trench coat as is befitting the serious nature of the event. My condolences to the family of the soldier.
There should be full investigation into the intelligence and command-and-control failures that resulted in his death. I cannot remember whether Congress approve this war in Yemen?
