Can anyone recall a Republican presidential primary where the last “man” standing will be more loathed than loved by the full Republican electorate? A plurality candidate that the great majority of Republicans will despise and/or barely tolerate.
The establishment GOP has betrayed/abandoned/alienated working class/middle class Republicans so thoroughly that even the right-wing village idiots have come to recognize they have been used and abused.
Donald Trump is doing a great job of dividing an already divided GOP. Uniting voters behind a Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio or Ben Carson or Carly Fiorina after Trump goes down, or runs as a 3rd party candidate, will be an IMPOSSIBLE! But fun to watch.
