Trump: ā€œLook at the first line: ā€˜Trump +1ā€™ I am a winner !ā€

I donā€™t believe this for a minute. The Trump campaign is in free fall and Trump himself has politically self immolated a dozen times in the last three weeks. Heā€™s more likely to come in third place behind Clinton and Johnson in Iowa than to tie with Clinton. This is a bullshit poll.

@clauscph Trump ahead by 1 point in Iowa: ā€œIs it wrong to say that Iā€™m HUGE in Iowa! Iā€™m telling you. You wouldnā€™t believe it. Iā€™m telling you. They love me there. Believe me. What about Ivanka? Isnā€™t she beautiful? Give her a handā€

Trump: ā€œMany people are saying that I already won in Iowa. When do I take the oath?ā€

What I find rather telling is that Trump himself (not sure if the clip was from yesterday or today) said something like ā€œIf it doesnā€™t work out, I will go back to a very good life.ā€ It was a casual comment, but maybe somewhere inside he does know that his campaign is going down the tubes.

Trump: Iowanā€™s are just stupid. Hillary should be winning:

It is hard to muster a fuck to give about Iowa and itā€™s 6 electoral votes, particularly when Arizona and, I have it on good authority, even Utah are both in play. Further, all the popular vote projections Iā€™ve seen are ludicrous - 51% to 40% range. Really? I predict that by the time the debates are over that HRC will crush Trump both Electorally and in terms of the ā€œpopularā€ vote.

Turn out, turn out, turn out. Make sure that every pro-Clinton (or anti-Trump) voter gets out to vote this November. GOTV!!!

Trumpā€™s Presidential run is merely an amusement to him. Heā€™s getting his kicks by demeaning everyone, getting a ā€œpower tripā€. He knows heā€™s got a comfortable, even if gaudy, life and once he loses heā€™ll bask from his ivory tower at the destruction left by himā€¦ and hopefully the Govā€™t goes after him IN FULL FORCE (taxes, civil and and criminally). A candidacy to the US Presidency doesnā€™t give someone, ANYONE, Immunity Rights (known as ā€œFueroā€ in Spanish countries) to say ANYTHING against ANYONE to push a partisan ideology, Trump isnā€™t a legislator, heā€™s just a candidate.

Heā€™ll go back to a comfortable life, but hopefully the U.S. Govā€™t wonā€™t allow him to live comfortably for all the harm heā€™s done to the ā€œU.S. Brandā€.

I was just thinking something similar. We may be losing Iowa to white grievance politics. Ernst may have been more of a harbinger than a fluke. If we pick up GA, NC, or some other stateā€¦ No fucks shall be given.

Is Iowa still a state in USA? The dumbest citizenship, most ignorant, worst senator, King, backwater state there is!!!

The poll, conducted over the phone Aug. 8-10, included 500 likely Iowa voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percent.

Or, as we call a one-point lead elsewhere, itā€™s a tie.

Itā€™s a scary thing that the trump style of bombast has seeped into our brains perhaps through something similar to osmosis and we can do the spew just as insanely as he does. Believe me.

Just want to say there is a Democratic enclave within the state albeit small. My two left coast friends moved to very affordable (as compared to SF) Coralville which seems to be a Democratic stronghold and votes Democratic regularly and in presidential electionsā€¦

Seems like it might be turning into Kansas!

I want AZ to go Blue sooooo bad. My cousins just moved from NJ to AZ and theyā€™re voting for Trump and I really, really, want Clinton to win AZ so I can mock them.
