I read just the other day some people were about to meet with him at Mar-a-Lago, and before he came in a couple Secret Service guys went up and quietly suggested they be upbeat, you know, cheer him up. Like when they tried to tell Hitler that Steiner was organizing a counterattack. That always works, right?
Many people are saying!
The thought of any of this bullshit being upheld by the SCOTUS makes my stomach hurt.
Rudy is the Trumpian Star Wars kid going all Jedi in the mirror.
That is why the first question to Kavenaugh should be, “Judge, you were appointed by a president while he has been under investigation by a special counsel. Will you recuse yourself if an issue arising from that investigation should come before the court?”
John Brennan this morning: “President Trump’s claims of no collusion are hogwash.”
Double-secret probation.
When the dog bites, when the bee stings…
Hilarious!
Rudy is the guy at the health club who grunts the loudest and remains the fattest.
I think Mueller has no more fucks to give. He should be through with Rudy’s bullshit. And just get on with it based on the overwhelming evidence he has. If Trump doesn’t want to take the opportunity to try to explain his way out of the inevitable, fuck 'em.
Time for a boatload of indictments against a lot of people Trump knows, with Trump as unindicted co-conspirator in a bunch of them.
Rudy grunts as his chauffeur drives him past the health club.

Of course, he’ll tell us he’s much much too busy wrestling in the mud with his former staffers to have time…an excuse that I find actually has some merit.
He must work hard to protect national security by revoking the security clearances of his critics and perceived enemies. Soon, Jared will be the only one with a clearance, and he’ll flip on Trump like Two-Face’s decision coin.
Isn’t he single again? On the market … but kind of like last week’s fish that should have been thrown out.
Maybe…
Maybe not…
Even with an unethical, mendacious, fraud like Trump, it’s still amazing to see his “legal” team openly admit that if Trump were to be interviewed (under oath, of course) by Mueller’s team it would inevitably lead to perjury. Ghouliani doesn’t even suggest that a way to avoid perjury is to tell the truth; that’s just not an option to these miscreants. Mueller needs to get that subpoena served asap and get the Petty Petulant POTUS in the hot seat.
Still waiting on the DOWNFALL parody…
Trump’s lawyers are pushing to shield Trump from being cornered into answering questions about obstruction of justice,
And Trump goes on TV with Lester Holt and on the record with the WSJ and admits, nay proclaims, that he is corruptly trying to influence the Russia investigation…
Maybe… but this whole notion hinges on Chief Justice Roberts being willing to even hear the arguments, and as @lestatdelc points out, there’s already a similar, if not identical, case that there’s no reason to overturn.
So, Trump just refused to answer the subpoena. This may well turn into the constitutional crisis that pits Federal Marshalls against the White House Staff; we’ll have to see where the Secret Service decides to stand.
