But how can Comey be trusted if he is a political Showboat
Comey âput politics over protecting America,â a narrator says in the 30-second spot, titled âShowboat,â which was shared with The Associated Press. It accuses him of being âconsumed with election meddlingâ even as âterror attacks were on the rise.â
And what really counts is how Mueller sees it.
His lawyers probably have stolen his phone and changed the password to his Twitter account. Otherwise, I doubt they would stick their necks out like that.
LOLâŚthatâs what heâs paid to say.
This is great news for John McCain!
Bingo. ReadyâŚSetâŚPatience!
He said he wouldnât announce it publicly so they wouldnât have to retract the statement in the future. Ask Hillary how that works.
âThe president is pleased that Mr. Comey has finally publicly confirmed his private reports that the President was not under investigation in any Russia probe,â Marc Kasowitz wrote in a statement. âThe president feels completely and totally vindicated.â
âHe is eager to continue to move forward with his agenda,â Kasowitz concluded.
itâs now 5:46 p.m. on the east coast and the betting âwindowsâ are now open and they will stay open, until 5 a.m. eastern. Your bet must have the correct (or close to) tweeting time, thank you

Journalism 101 Follow-up Question: âAnd how does the POTUS feel about Comeyâs statement providing sufficient factual allegations to justify charges of obstruction?â
Everybody on the Drumpf bus before it runs you overâŚ
Oh wait⌠Bad ideaâŚ
Thereâs a train Comey down the tracksâŚ
Well, if itâs good enough for a Jersey mob lawyer, then itâs good enough for me.
Now if we can just get confirmation from a Russian mob lawyer.
Well since now he HAS announced it publicly, I wonder if it means he will have to correct it (assuming that Trump is now a target)? I am hoping very much that question comes up tomorrow.
Also, of course, he said he wasnât a target of a counter-intelligence investigation. He could have been a target of a criminal investigation. I would be shocked if, at this point at least, he is not. (And that is discounting any obstruction of justice charges he may be facing.)
Not unexpected. Not at all surprised that he would deliberately misread the testimony that way.
Next.
Note that Nixon did not physically break into the Watergate Hotel. It doesnât matter if Trump personally was under investigation. If his staff is, and he knew his staff was committing crimes, then heâs in deep doo-doo.
He wants to be the CEO of the government? Well CEOs get fired all the time for acts committed on their watch.
Reports have it, that they are suing the Arrow t.v. show for libel.
Wait, havenât you been subpoenaed already?
Trump hasnât tweeted yet.
Though more often they donât. Thatâs worth remembering as well.
I am prepared to treat that Twitterstorm as I would a front row seat at a Gallagher performance.
I am suitably attired in plastic trash bags with an umbrella.
