Why was the GOP selling that before as their plan and why did they refuse to work in a bipartisan manner when healthcare was on the table? Itâs saved the insurance industry and resulted in coverage for hundreds of millions of people. Tweak it, go ahead, but if you break it, then you own it. See Bush/Iraq.

The Democrats in Congress do not work for you, HO â you have little to no control over how they vote, what they say, what they propose. As a Democratic voter, I have more sway with them than you ⌠and that just chaps your ass, doesnât it?
This is, in fact, a perfect time for the Democratic leadership to start fighting for single payer or Medicare for all. But they wonât because Democrats donât know how to get people to vote for them by, you know, actually giving them something popular to vote for.
It does not matter if they donât have the votes now. They can at least get the discussion moving in that direction.
Just saying ânoâ for the next 4 years is not a winning strategy.
