It’s like going to an upscale wedding reception and there’s this drop-dead fabulous selection of hors d’oeuvres and you just don’t know where to begin, it’s all so wonderful, and a friend who knows you love food comes up and says “Oh my God, you have to have some of this schadenfreude, it’s to die for.”

It’s more like Talledega Nights–the scene when Cal tells Ricky Bobby not to be so upset about Cal taking RB’s home, wife, and cars.
Trump is not only stealing the whole primary that the GOP has invested billions and decades in. He’s telling them not to be mad at him for doing it. As Cal says, “You have to get over the anger bridge and come back to the friendship shore!”

I think he’s more like one of those bubbles in theoretical physics that could expand at the speed of light and destroy the universe. Mindless, unstoppable destruction, an eradication more profound than your imagination can comprehend—that’s how it would look to me, I think, if I were Rove or Priebus.

Welcome to the dark side, Donald!!! On this particular statement, I can only heartily agree with you, especially on the last phrase.
It’s still September. And just look at the carnage this primary has already caused the GOP. 2012’s primary was a frolic in the park by comparison, and that’s not an exaggeration. There is no working order to come out of this. Preibus and the RNC are merely hoping they can find a survivor and enough pieces of jetsam to piece together into a plank that isn’t abhorrent to everybody else in the country by next summer.
The realities of the General election haven’t changed. They still need to get north of 40% of the Hispanic vote to have any chance. They still have to improve their numbers with Asians. They still need to do better with female voters than Romney did. This primary is moving those things from very difficult into the impossible category.

I suppose that’s one way to look at it. It should be noted, however, that we’re paying attention to him the same way you pay attention to the cobra in the corner of a room in which you’re trapped. Poisonous, deadly, unpredictable and offering you nothing worthwhile, but goddamned if you’re not going to watch that fucker’s every move carefully.

The TGOP will not see the inside of the White House for at least 8 more years. My fingers are crossed that the combination of changing demographics, and the voters disgust with TGOP antics, will begin to reject the whole Teabagger wave of Congressional membership in this election cycle.

The tweeting shows a man that has no self control. His ego is so fragile he has to lash out at any and all comments in the media that don’t praise him. He is beginning to act like the nutty head of North Korea. His base is the under educated haters that think life has somehow slighted them. As he slips in the polls, this will likely get worse. They all trash and seem to hate the President, yet there is a man that has consistently exhibited grace under pressure.
