Yet another Trump Orwellian pick specifically chosen to destroy his department. Thanks again to 100,000 LoFo Trump/Obama voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Florida. I’m sure you all hate health insurance, clean air and water, and love low wages in a completely deunionized world, right?

Get ready for a full scale pull back on worker protections.

Wage theft? Doesn’t happen.

Minimum Wage? Hurts owners.

On and on and on…

Sounds like a perfect fit for Trump’s cabinet – in other words, bad for America in every way conceivable.

You mean “worker protections” of those working class whites who voted for Trump?

“I used to hear, brands take on the personality of the CEO. And I rarely thought that was true, but I think this one, in this case, it kind of did take on my personality.”

The idea that this sc*mbag thinks this is a good thing is horrifying in the extreme. This is nothing more than a Rump version of owning a fast food joint.

This has assumed the proportions of a nightmare.

Ds will of course have to fight back and publicize this government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich–but at all times take care to label it REPUBLICAN. Because it is. Stick the whole party with it and not just Trump.

and FTW

I’m somewhat curious about which confirmation hearing will be a ‘scream’ to ‘Trump Democrats’, those who sat out and third party voters: Sessions (decriminalization), this guy or Linda McMahon’s (who thought that the minimum wage should be lowered).

here’s to four years.

““So you actually go from a situation where you’ve got a business that can survive and that has economic strength, to a business that you really can’t run, you really can’t hire people, and you can’t offset these costs of this magnitude with pricing, even if there was meaningful inflation, which we don’t have,””

Let me help you out here, you plutocrat douche: if the product or service you are making, producing, manufacturing, designing, offering, selling, etc., is sooo utterly shitty that you cannot charge a sufficient price for it in the free market to generate sufficient revenue to pay your employees a living wage, THEN YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD FAIL.

IN FACT, IT ALREADY DID FAIL AND YOU ARE MERELY USING THE GOV’T SERVICES PROVIDED TO YOUR UNDERPAID, POVERTY-RIDDLED EMPLOYEES TO PROP YOUR BUSINESS UP.

He opposes paying $15/hour for someone to flip hamburgers? Wow, shocking, he is not better than Eichmann.

Snark off

The $15 minimum wage campaign is truly stupid.

neither does Vince’s wife

what should be the min wage then?

The minimum wage in most places seems about right. If it is to be increased, a small % is adequate.

Minimum wage jobs were never designed to be family wages. They are jobs for teens. The $15 min wage campaign is a huge mistake. It is already killing jobs in Seattle.

Somebody tell me again about how voting doesn’t matter or how Hillary is a ‘flawed’ candidate?

In my village we have a legend that once a woman with golden hair walked among us and said she would help us learn to build giant wings in the treetops that would bring light to our huts, and we would gather the sunlight itself in magical baskets and use it to warm our families in the winter. Only the old people believe such tales now.

The $15 minimum wage is creating jobs in Seattle. Try again.

When she ran against Blumenthal, Vince’s wife had no idea what it should be and she gave off an impression that it should be lowered.

I’m bringing it up, because if her line of thinking is the same as his, folks are going to miss those $10 n $12 days.
