Trump is the bigot and unedited mouth but so many times hits the nail on the head. He breaks the Republican bigoted mold by not being coy enough with his bigotry and going after his Republican rivals with a modicum of truth. Hench his followers like his direct talk. Cruz did scape goat his staffer. No One here thinks Cruz is anything but sleazy. Trump calls it.

I am not sure that Marco Rubio is prepared to be president if he thinks all the answers he needs are in the bible. The bible is full of errors and there is an overwhelming amount of evidence indicating that it is not the word of god.

Rick Tyler was fired because he apologized for the error. Sleazy Ted Cruz wanted to use the bible incident to appeal to the biblical and christianiacal instincts of his rabidly religulous base.
I am beginning to question whether Cruz is The Face of God we Love. His wife was infested and possessed by god and told to look for the Face and not the Hand. Frankly, I don’t know why god gets so cryptic.
I thought that Santorum (www.spreadingsantorum.com) received a more direct sign from god.

A world renowned oncologist could announce a universal cure for cancer and Trump would devise a way to portray him as a sick, lying, bastard loser. Meet your next President. A man of the people. Truly representative of the citizenry.
And if Cruz didn’t fire the guy, Trump would be saying

Cruz remains a dirty politician…not a follower of Jesus at all.
There are several points at issue.
Cruz’s position is somewhat incoherent – the guy made an honest mistake which he correct but I’m firing him anyway because my campaign does not question other people’s faith. (Never mind that I’ve done a lot of that in my career.)
So taking Cruz at his word, Trump’s critique is legit
But, do we take Cruz at his word. Do we believe that the distorted video was an honest mistake rather than simply a lie that got caught? If this is what we believe, then Poopy’s suggested critique is valid.
Given the misrepresentation in Iowa of Dr. Carson’s plans I’m firmly in the deliberate distortion camp. What I’m not sure is the degree of Cruz’s direct knowledge versus his general responsibility for setting the tone.

Sounds like Tyler may well end up working for Trump. That could be interesting.
So, let me get this straight: the psychopath and the sociopath concoct a scheme to convince the Evangelicals to vote for the psycopath, and this scheme involves violating the Ninth Commandment. That thing about false witness. And they get caught red-handed and red-faced. So the psychopath throws his sociopath aide under the bus, hoping that will somehow allay the Evangelicals. And the egomaniac calls him out on it.

Offhand, I can recall god telling 1) Dubya 2) Santorum and now 3) Cruz he wanted them to be President. I really feel god should stick to healing he sick, raising the dead and doing the expanding fish/bread trick. Political prognostication is not his metier - and the one who did win turned out to be a disaster.
I believe him, I’ve always heard god has a really good sense of humor!
