Discussion for article #245832
Standard reply to any bad media coverage.
Let’s face it, Donald “the draft dodging coward” is the original tantrum baby.
Oh well, hopefully the testicular cancer will soon kick in.
Trump is, as always, an a-hole, but that newspaper and its publisher are too. So, really, we all win here.
Going down and doing badly like your casinos and hotels, you mean?
“…wanted to keep it high level.” KEEP? High level? Since when is the sewer a HIGH level?
There are two weird things here.
One, Trump is looking backward, at the past. NH primary is over, and yet he still obsesses over what a NH newspaper did.
Two (as is now common for him) he does an unthinkable political thing–make enemies of a person who he will need in the future. Remember, this was only the primary; he will need to seek votes again in NH to win a general election, and now he can forget good free coverage from the state’s biggest paper.
The Donald is a mediocre businessman at best and it was his daddy’s money and political connections that helped launched his career. Otherwise America would never have heard of Donald Trump. This man is way out of his depth and maybe just maybe enough voters will recognize this fact.
Trump has never exceeded mid 30s% of GOP support.
Because the other candidates all believe that they can unseat him BY ALL GOING AFTER THE NON TRUMP PEOPLE, this will continue.
Trump knew that after he started and has ridden with it.
Making the MSM a shitload of money.
If his situation were reversed (e.g. him plus three other Krazies splitting the 50 or so% Krazy vote, going against ONE Reagan-like-communicator representing taking most of the rest of the GOP establishment vote), Trump would have been gone a long time ago.
These facts I am pointing out are readily apparent.
Except that the MSM has wonderful ways of not reporting…things…
If he wants to keep it high level, his campaign staffers are going to have to get something much bigger than an extensions ladder, a cherry picker, or even an elevator from one of his overly decorated buildings (which actually aren’t his … just his name on them).
Nothing as un-classy as a poor winner. You have no class at all Trumper.
Yes, I am repeatedly struck by the media’s somehow forgetting the Democratic race in 2008 was actually a 3-person race for months. Edwards pulling votes from Clinton kept her from mounting an effective counter to the Obama phenomenon in that primary season.
No one knows how this primary season will turn out, but in all the “detailed analysis” and punditry last evening comparing Sanders in 2016 to Obama in 2008, wouldn’t you think someone would at least mention that obvious fact?
Nah, why do that and spoil the narrative?
Trump just CANNOT abide criticism. From anyone. He is compelled to beat down into smithereens if possible anyone who thinks differently than he and who is moved to criticize him.
DONNIE…YOU SUCK!!!
(looks for kevlar vest and helmet)
And just for emphasis I offer this:
The MSM is an industry. Like tires and beer.

Edwards did not pull my vote away from Clinton because I preferred him (until his libido ruined his judgment) over Clinton and Obama. I was neither a Clinton or Obama primary voter and was glad there was an alternative at least for a while. I support Sanders but will vote for Clinton over the Republicans if it comes to that. Cheers.
I think we’re in agreement on supporting whoever wins the Democratic nomination. I was simply struck by how the myriad of pundits fail to point out one of the key differences in 2008 and 2016. Edwards didn’t sway everyone - obviously - but there was a lot of discussion, and polling evidence at the time, that the support he did gather was hurting Clinton more than Obama, who created his own phenomenon and following.
There are similarities with Sander’s popularity now, but I hate it when folks pretending to analyze a situation don’t consider - or just ignore - obvious differences in their rush to find patterns.
