Didn’t say that about Roy Moore?

To summarize:

It’s all true and there’s more coming.

Rump only found out about him when he was told by the Federalist Society that Kavanaugh was going to be nominated. Outside of that, he’d never heard of him and didn’t care.

Use of BLEMISH means that Trump is highly uncomfortable with BK’s roaeca. Projection once again.

One of the finest people you’ve ever known? Please, you’ve known the man for two months. Sit down.

You dumb fuck, six months ago you’d never met him, and we all know it.

Pitiful blather.

Just deserts?

So here was Kavanaugh—who spent his early 30s as a Ken Starr warrior pursuing Bill Clinton for the political and legal implications of his most intimate moral failings—now in his early 50s facing a political crisis over disturbingly vivid, passionately contested, decades-old allegations about Kavanaugh’s own possible moral failings.

You heard it here first –

  1. Ford testifies as she has already told the story. Under questioning, she admits that it was long ago, but stands her ground.

  2. Kavanaugh repeats his adamant denial.

  3. Mark Judge shamefacedly admits that he drank too much when he was young, had blackouts. “I didn’t remember this incident, but now I do…”

And he testifies that he does recall, now that he’s reminded, pulling a guy off of a girl at a party: “But it wasn’t Kavanaugh.”

And after all this time, Judge won’t name the guy. But he will dramatically apologize to Ford (without mentioning how he’d saved her) because the incident left no impression on him.

Well, it’s sweet so it must be.

“He’s never had even a little blemish.”

As always, hard to figure out what Trump means. Is it: Kavanaugh has never contracted a venereal disease, or I don’t count sexual assault as a thing?

“There are fine people on both sides. Rapists, Nazis, sexual assault and Holocaust victims; you name it.”

Trump also criticized Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) for not bringing up Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations against Kavanaugh earlier…

Never mind the Republican Senators who clearly knew about it earlier, and said nothing. All they did was get their weak rebuttal all lined up, with 65 attestations to Kavanaugh’s saintliness.

Slightly to one side, but Petri’s on a roll with this. Today it’s Every man should be worried. At least, I’m worried.

Look, which of us is 100 percent certain all his sexual encounters are consensual? That isn’t most people’s baseline, surely? You’re telling me I am supposed to encounter dozens, hundreds, thousands of women in my life, some drunk and some sober and some with really good legs and just … not assault any of them?

Willing to bet these 65 women had no idea what they were rebutting. You could probably say they had rebuttal forced upon them.

The optics for this with the GOP were the cause of tRump’s response, for what it was. He does not give a rats ass about any thing but himself. No matter if it is delayed I hope the four GOP female senators wake up and realize that this guy is not the kind of person we want on the court, it is all up to them. If they can sit there and allow this to pass then they don’t deserve to sit in that chamber.
