Discussion: Trump: Jeb 'Has To Like Mexican Illegals Because Of His Wife'

Agreed. Of course, that scenario depends on those guys actually standing up to him.

I have a special contempt for Walker. He desires to be as anti-intellectual as possible. He’s beefing about college or something, but his moves reek of intellectual envy. Someone like that can never be given mantle to high office. He’s not a Lincoln, he’s a Walker and something about him is simply not right. Everything? I can’t nail it down, but he seems the goober and goobers are dangerous.

Yep… All the while saying the things the base wants to hear.

This was the role played by Michelle Bachmann in 2012…

And, honestly, that’s probably the only way to make Jeb an actual candidate instead of another Rmoney.

He does have that Scott Brown look of dumb-ass-very…

If only…

Unfortunately, this is true.

The one thing the rich hate more than the poor is seeing someone who was rich paupered.

Sorry. We have an adversarial government and process by design. And we have a First Amendment which is especially crucial during elections, so you basically get the chance to watch these people rip each other apart. Family is FAIR game, always and especially during elections.

The GOP Clown Car outperforms even the best double-bill Creature Feature. Jarvis, some more popcorn please, and a little more buttery flavoring and a bit less salt please. This is the best show I’ve seen since I binge-watched the 12 episodes of the 1938 Flash Gordon serial.

“He’s doing this to inflame and incite and to draw attention, which seems to be the organizing principle of his campaign”

The GOP is Dr Frankenstein, and Trump’s the monster (just obviously not as bright as the monster though… I guess no metaphor’s perfect). They’ve been building this for years, and now they’re afraid of their own creation.

Say what you will about the Democrats - they were smart enough to know that co-opting the Occupy movement would’ve eventually backfired on them. The GOP, when confronted with the rise of the Tea Party, were not. That’s how they got here.

It’s all Marty Feldman’s fault.

(golf clap)

To paraphrase Josh this is classic “bitch slap” politics and Trump is perfectly placed to smack them around like a pinata

“To make these extraordinarily ugly kind of comments is not reflective of the Republican Party"

Oh but it is John Ellis Bush.

That is part and parcel as to why Trump has now moved into second place and is within he MOE of you in several polls.

Bah. A GOTPer’s perception of his brand is based on what his PR says, not on his actual actions.

Given the crap Michelle Obama, Hillary or heck even Chelsea has had to deal with from the right…

Trump’s comment is more like the glow of your modem lights versus a Hollywood spotlight on the ruthless nasty comment scale of late

The GOP is assembling a pool of consultants to advise how to rein Trump in. So far cat trainers are the only applicants.
