And there’s the ultimate irony (although there seems to be an endless list here): the people who are insisting that he’s the best, he’s right, etc., they keep offering excuses about everything, and paint themselves as being victims, being oppressed, on and on. Then they turn around and complain about Those People™ not taking responsibility, and without a missing a beat, wildly shake their heads at what their erstwhile dictactor wannabe is saying.
The problem begins and ends with voters. And sorry to say, there isn’t much you can do about these folks who will insist that everything is rigged and therefore, excuses all sorts of malefeasance on their part, which they stupidly insist as “taking their country back.”
