Discussion: Trump Is Attacking Clinton Foundation, But Once Donated $100K

According to the HOmongers, when HO does it, it’s all right.

Meanwhile the ā€œliberalā€ press (such as Reuters, AP and Yahoo! News/ABC) completely ignores that the Clinton Foundation received an ā€œAā€ rating from an independent charity watchdog, https://www.charitywatch.org/ratings-and-metrics/bill-hillary-chelsea-clinton-foundation/478
Because to report that would not fit their meme to bash Clinton by innuendo to help Drumpf.

There you go with your "facts " again. The idjits have something to talk about for the next news cycle. That’s all they care about, filling that endless loop of nooze 7-24.
Mourning Joe started right in resulting in a quick channel change .
Joe did you ever talk to someone who contributed to your campaign . Oh I didn’t think so.
Trump do you ignore investors and doners? I didn’t think so
Ya thanks for the million now fuck off .
No one who accepts a donation or a contribution is going to ignore that person

This seems like something he could easily say he ā€œneededā€ to do to get ahead with business or whatever and that it’s not fair that’s what people need to do. Truth is optional.

Well, at least we have evidence he’s donated to charity now.

Good point about the A rating for charity.
What is the rating for the Trump Foundation?

Drumpf may have written the $100K check, but odds are it bounced like a Superball…

Oh, Donald, everyone knows no criminal enterprise is bigger than yours.

The fact that Donald gave money to it tends to tarnish the Clinton Foundation’s reputation for me.

But more seriously, in a sensible world extracting money from rich assh*les who got it by questionable means and then using that money to do good – that would be considered a savvy thing to do.

Trump: I am corrupt and a foreign secret agent. It only shows you that Clinton Foundation is run by traitors who will take money from anyone, even Putin.

ā€œIt involved numerous violations of the conflict of interest and bribery laws and other serious laws of the United States,ā€

The Man who has conflicts of interest with Russia and Putin due to his ONGOING business dealings, who discussed with a television network continuing to film his stupid reality TV show as President, which would be a monumental conflict of interest he did not even recognize. Other serious laws of the US? Someone who is the Republican Nominee for President? That quote is more ridiculous than showing Michael Dukakis wearing a helmet riding a tank.

Agree. I’ve started reading up on the Clinton Foundation and its works. I really like the idea of someone with global influence - like a former president - using his influence and connections to get money from rich people - good bad or somewhere in between - to do good around the world. Their projects, organizational structure and finances are public and completely transparent. It’s not just a pass-through organization that matches donors with causes; it is an operational foundation that actually gets boots on the ground and performs the work.

This new argument cobbled together by the right wing that wealthy and influential people do not mingle in politics and business is absurd. They’ve been doing it themselves for decades, removing the barriers to lobbyists so that Washington DC is now a revolving door for cronies to make each other rich. If the Clintons have figured out a way to turn that system for charitable purposes, more power to them.

The idea that this is now going to be lied about, twisted and muddled by assholes for political means makes me sad. It’s just like every other attempt of the Republicans to thwart helping others.

By what we call in the trade ā€˜several orders of magnitude’.

Jolly Good! The media is too lazy to report on the substance of an issue eg what did Clinton Foundation do? Did Hillary grant any favors to those she met with? Everything else, like the substance of this story, is political nonsense.

They ALL thought the foundation was good…it IS a good thing but for political points they will tear down ANYTHING in their way. If you think they give a sweet sht about things that actually HELP PEOPLE you are mistaken. To understand look at Trump preaching to white people ABOUT how he was going to ā€˜help’ black people. Oh yeah.

I am shocked - shocked, I tell you - to discover there’s hypocrisy going on in Trump’s campaign.

I think this could backfire on Trump and the broader GOP – who already have a growing reputation of being willing to throw Americas citizens under the bus to further their political goals of obstructing Dems and using non-whites as scapegoats.

You can bet your sweet ass it wasn’t Trump’s own money he contributed!
