Discussion: Trump Insults Sessions' Intelligence: 'He Doesn't Understand What's Happening'

Only the best people, Dotard? And insulting his intelligence when he’s not a person of color?

I don’t know if I can deal with any more Man is a Moron moments.

In a previous story it was stated that WH staffers should keep their heads down and just do their jobs. Now that is a story I think is worth pursuing. Who is thinking up these “cage the kids”? Who keeping SHS away from questioning the Pres. about this, that and everything? Who has more power Shine or Kelly? And what in the FUCK is Jared doing? (could also add KAC and Ivanka)

“Every President deserves an Attorney General they have confidence in."

Several senators and Justices on the Supreme Court subscribe to the unitary executive theory that the president has the power to control the entire executive branch. The DOJ is an executive department. Trump is the only person Trump has confidence in. Therefor, Trump should nominate himself as AG, the Senate will confirm him and the Supreme Court will support the confirmation in the face of any challenge.

Graham is appeased and the problem is solved.

You’re his Boss, Donnie. Why don’t you just tell Beauregard Secessions what to do? Give him explicit orders to do what you want, or fire his sorry Reb ass?

Huh?

Oh yeah, I forgot, face-to-face, you are an emmeffing coward.

And you lose “plausible deniability” over what happens.

Putz!

ETA-- I like “churlish lout” also. @mattinpa

Donald Trump questioning your intelligence is a bit like David Duke questioning your egalitarian views on race relations.

Why does he quote Graham and not just take action and fire Sessions? No guts.

I keep thinking slimy Miller’s fingerprints are all over these issues and Tweeto’s keyboard.

Seesions may be trying to get some of the Benedict Arnold stank off of him for the history books

I suspect if tRump fires Sessions his house of cards will tumble down. I thought remember reading that some players in the WH would walk out if Sessions was canned, but in any case Senators seemed opposed to it (in the past).

rRump quoting Graham Cracker (the hypocrite) is just a hilarious throw-away bon mot for this glorious Saturday morning.

But his own policy agenda has the David Duke smell about it.

I agree with khyber900 when he posted that Trump will never fire Sessions. Sessions would turn on him like a viper and spill everything he knows to Mueller. Trump has been goading Sessions to quit for over a year now. Sessions isn’t going to quit, Trump isn’t going to fire him and we will be watching this name calling game as long as Trump is in office.

There’s the key to this whole shitshow right from the the start: he’s not the actual executive, he’s just playing the executive. He’s outside his own presidency, waiting to come in at the end of episodes for adulation. His tiny mind can’t/won’t grasp that he’s in the ring, that the bull is focused on him.

Trump imagined that he would be able, a la Putin and many third world dictators, that his AG would simply jail Clinton on the basis of no crime other than having run against him. He is shocked that our Constitution prevents this in myriad ways. He has no clue what the Constitution says, and it is rumored he wanted to be sworn in not on the Bible but on his ghostwritten "Art of the Deal."

Now it occurs to me that Sessions is able to hang on, despite Trump’s deepest desires, because he knows a thing or two about Russia + Trump.

Whatever he may be, Sessions is smarter than Bluto.

Every tweet is yet another proof of Trump’s corrupt intent in the ongoing Obstruction of Justice conspiracy which includes Trump, Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan and Rep. Meadows.

Probably because he’s been warned by McConnell that he won’t be able to get another AG past the Senate.

What is jared doing, making sure that israel cont to build illegal settlements, with impunity, and latest, t* took 200 mil in aid away fr Palestine. I also encouraging countries like Jordan, to expel Palestinian refugees in a attempt to force them to accept amerikkka’s/israe’s idea of peace. Hope other countries step up to help
