This is what happens when you have a “great businessman” for a president, an overly litigious asshole who thinks he can wear down other countries the way he does contractors when he refuses to pay them. He may (possibly, probably not) eventually get a better deal, but what about what happens in the meantime in which those farmers will suffer? Will they pay their bills with PP promisary notes? “It’s fine, mortgage lender, President Big Drawers is going to fix it all and I’ll be able to pay you three or four years from now. Will you take a post-dated check for 2022?”
