He is trying really hard to insert that “would” in there, isn’t he - because it gives him a tiny amount of wiggle room. Like a worm on a hook.
But he doesn’t know the territory!
Heh.
C’mon. That is just a minor detail.
Okay, that makes sense. I guess the difference, In regards to accepting risk, would be that the reckless person consistently underestimates it, while the addict might have it weighed properly, but been unable to walk away. I admit Trump fits the former pattern better. He’s had this dream of being President for a while and always walked away until he was 70 years old and it was really his last chance.
Yes he did, and they were talking about it immediately after the debate. (The people on the NPR podcast that I listened to that was taped right after the debate basically said that Americans would envy him for not paying taxes because they wished he could, but I totally disagree with them and had to turn the podcast off at that point.)
You nailed it!
The idea that a man who allegedly made 600 million dollars in income last year, and doesn’t pay taxes while middle class Americans are taxed at 20-35% is so abhorrent to me.
It will never make sense to me why he has convinced so many people to vote for him.
The secret is in the word “convinced.” Or con-vinced
“That makes me smart.”
But I’m confused. On the one hand he says it’s smart for a billionaire to cheat on his taxes yet he complains that some of our less wealthy NATO members aren’t paying their fair share.
Get it?
I don’t think Trump get’s it.
It’s an easy thing to prove the truth of this, Donald. Release your tax returns.
