In other wordsâŚ
From the Federal Register, seems appropriate:
This final rule adopts, without change, the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) we published in the Federal Register on January 28, 2013. We are replacing the term âmental retardationâ with âintellectual disabilityâ in our Listing of Impairments (listings) that we use to evaluate claims involving mental disorders in adults and children under titles II and XVI of the Social Security Act (Act) and in other appropriate sections of our rules. This change reflects the widespread adoption of the term âintellectual disabilityâ by Congress, government agencies, and various public and private organizations.
Iâm thinking some heads might explode today. I donât want to be camped out in front of my computer all day, but I donât want to miss it either. What to doâŚ
Commander in Chaos currently is sowing ripples of ranting and raving⌠on the multiple levels of the wretched right.
Firing up the popcorn maker for the show.
Weâre not looking at amnesty. Weâre looking at allowing people to stay here.
âWeâre not talking about Thursdays. Weâre talking about the day that falls between Wednesday and Friday.â
As The World Turns.
"I just spoke with Paul Ryan. Heâs on board. Everybody is on board.â
ExceptâŚyou knowâŚthe entire GOP base.
Good God, youâve ruined my day!
Steve King is just not getting that no promise from Mr Trump is credible? Slow learner, I guess, with a brain like a cantaloupeâŚa cantaloupe that has been sitting in the refrigerator for three weeks.
You know what would have been a good way to do that? NOT rescinding DACA, jackass.
It would be freaking awesome if the DACA immigrants were allowed to stay. Once they are here, we can work on amnesty and citizenship, whether in piecemeal form (for military service, for example, or for agreeing to teach or provide healthcare services in an area in need of such professionals) or blanket form.
I donât think this could have happened while Bannon was in the West Wing.
The reduction in opposition doesnât explain how the idea got planted in Trumppâs head, however. Who/what got the DACA notion planted in Trumppâs head and helped protect it long enough for Trumpp to get behind it?
Sshh. He doesnât know and itâs better that way.
I have serious work to do, but canât tear away from the clown carsâ crack ups. The rw media figures hysterics are particular enjoyable to read.
But on a more serious level, I have to wonder how this plays with the GOP members who are uncomfortable with the deplorable side of Trump, but have tried to play along because of⌠âThe (RW) Agendaâ. The oneâs who pushed the Russian Sanctions bill, and more recently the Charlottesville decree (?). If Trump his selling out on a centerpiece of His agenda, why is there any reason to believe that he wonât sell out on the RW (Ryan) agenda? My guess is some new (not yet visible) fissure parts are being formed about now - especially in the House - and not just with representatives who are big fans of âthe Wallâ or big enemies of DACA.
If you have a smart phone, you could try setting up an alert for any news articles that contain the words âRepublicanâ AND âExploded OR Aneurysmâ.
Unfortunately, heâll soon run into roadblocks with Chuck and Nancy and then weâll be back to square one. But it sure is fun in the meantime ⌠. Also, I predict that C&N have his number waaaaay more than Paul and Mitch.
Itâs a slippery slope, tho, DJT. If you let fly one smart, humanitarian correction, you might find yourself careening toward competent, forward-thinking, beneficial governance.
Sometimes while cleaning dog shit off the soles of your shoes you wonder why the hell you didnât watch where you were stepping in the first place.
Everyday he says something dumber than the previous, every fucking day!
