Discussion: Trump: I'm ‘Misquoted’ In Pro-Clinton Ad Featuring My Remarks On Women (VIDEO)

With all the tweeting and TV watching when will Donald actually have time to lower himself to do a little presidenting?
Oh…and the F word was included to show your frequent, public use of the F word…dumbass.

A Fox News host mistakenly said a quote featured in the ad, in which Trump says a woman who attended his wedding ate “like a pig,” was about Clinton. Trump pointed out on Twitter that he’d directed the insult at comedian Rosie O’Donnell.

Oh. Well that makes it better.

How about the other 28 seconds of the ad? Any comment on that, fella?

But the rest of the quoted insults are accurate? The only one you find to be incorrect is the “go fuck themselves” quote?

And is he really going to stick with “Crooked Hillary”? Because that’s lame. Really lame. Very, very lame. The lamest this country and the world has ever seen! Trust me!

(sorry, I got caught up in the moment…)

Oh, for God’s sake. It’s not a misquotation, Donald, you stupid ape. Any implication that you said it about women and not China is because of the way it’s set up. Me, I’d have suggested (why don’t people run things by me?) that the producers cut it and substitute something else because if all the other quotes are about women, the end one is a category error. Sure, it’s all vulgar, stupid stuff he said. But if everything else is about women, don’t break that pattern—that maintenance of consistency is just Writing 101. And you can’t let Donald have one little thread to pull at, or he’ll focus on that and your original message gets lost.

I predict “crooked” will climb up the ranking of his “best words” soon (currently among the second tier)…

The last quote featured in the ad, spoken by an elderly woman, is, “You can tell them to go fuck themselves.”

Sounds like she was paraphrasing.

Maybe he was just channeling John McCain.

Please wait until after the convention to pop that cork. I want him to be the the actual nominee not the presumptive nominee.

PAC ads tend to be pretty brutal, but never have I seen the candidate being targeted confirm that most the ad is true.

The Republican primary campaign revealed (or rather reestablished) that Donald Trump is a bigot and a sexist and a creep. In fairness, this was not entirely a testament to fearless journalism; Trump happily exhibited all of these behaviors in front of live television cameras week after week. But reporters and campaigns did bring incidents of bigotry, sexism, and creepiness from his past to light, which helped feed the public’s exceedingly negative impression of the GOP’s new standard-bearer.

Despite months of digging, though, they may have only scratched the surface of Trump’s public and private sordidness. Now that he’s effectively secured the Republican Party nomination, we can expect the full details to pour out in the weeks and months ahead.

Very interesting, dnl. One has to wonder just how much the “appropriator” received from Trump to register the value of a large piece of land in Ossining, NY at just $1.35 million. It’s unlikely one would value a run-down putt putt course at $1.35 mill in that community (my only source of knowledge being Betty and Don Draper’s original home in “Mad Men”)

This is not an ad about his remarks “on women” (though some of them are), it’s just dumb things he’s said. And the ad features both men and women.

But isn’t it interesting how jarring and not at all funny or entertaining or any of the other lame excuses the right-wing bloviators like Trump (and Limbaugh, O’Reilly, et al) use to defend themselves when these words come out of the mouths of women and a father talking about his young daughter?

Why, it’s almost like Trump is actually a totally unappealing, inhuman sack of shit, not a viable or legitimate Presidential candidate. Of course, that isn’t the impression you get from the constant media coverage of him.

Your point is absolutely correct, and I’'d be surprised if the video shop isn’t having this discussion right now ( Don’t fret, I’m sure they’ll call). We’ve seen already this might be the most savvy group of propeller heads to work on a national campaign, they won’t be making too many mistakes.

That error certainly negates EVERYTHING else in the ad.
