Discussion: Trump: 'I'm Actually Not Angry At Anybody' About Mueller Indictments

“I’m actually not angry at anybody,” Trump told the New York Times. “I’m not under investigation, as you know.”

Oh, LOL! The man is delusional to the Nth.

Yeah, sure, Donald, but you know that saying it (how many times does this make?) doesn’t make it so.

Well he’s got ME convinced!

Motives as shrouded and opaque as the vacuum of interstellar space.

He wouldn’t lie about that. In fact, he never gets angry. It’s the fake news media that makes him seem more uncivil than he really is. Or so I’ve heard.

Big, great, fantastic poll numbers. Just very, very good. People are saying I’m not under investigation, as you know. Very smooth, it’s going very, very well. I’m very happy.

I don’t know that.

“I just got fantastic poll numbers,” the President claimed, though his job approval is at an all-time low, according to Gallup. “I’m really enjoying it.”

He’s fucking crazy, y’know?

Either he’s psycho-delusional and unhinged, or firmly convinced after years of practice that telling something to himself and others over and over again makes it true. Or both.

The question is: does he really believe it or is he lying? I tend to favor the former, because he’s so stupid. I guess everyone’s afraid to break it to him.

Fox & Friends doesn’t come on for a couple more minutes. Then he’ll understand that he gets to torture his first ISIS guy.

“True”, in the sense of something being factual and remaining consistently factual across different contexts and through different times, is not something that Donald Trump now conceptualizes the same way as you or I, if he ever did.

Folks, the POTUS is getting his news and talking points from watching FOX and Friends.
How did this happen?

But what if you say it over and over and over and over … doesn’t that make it so?

literally speechless.

Today, it’s actually worse. I don’t think anybody on Fox and Friends thinks he’s not angry at anybody, or that he’s happy and having a great time, or that his poll numbers are very, very good. He is now taking a much sunnier view of matters than F&F. At least when he was repeating their talking points, that represented a very, very bad (or sick!) form of hinged-ness.

This is literally calling up the newspaper to scream into the void.

In his defense, his main news source has thrived for years by incessantly yelling falsehoods and persuading the dimwitted. Apparently they’re his muse.

I want to know how many times he repeated/near-repeated each quote. “I’m not under investigation, as you know. People in the fake news have been saying that I’m under investigation, but I’m not. There’s no investigation of me. Just some very, very low-level volunteers who worked with the campaign for a very short time, but I’m not under investigation. More and more people are realizing this.”

“Now why don’t you just take it easy, Mandrake, and please make me a drink of grain alcohol and rainwater, and help yourself to whatever you’d like.”
