Trumpâs illegal sanctions are about to be shot down by the WTO. Donnie canât do a damn thing about it but whine. Sad.
During the meeting with Rutte, Trump said he was âvery closeâ to reaching a number of trade deals, describing them as âfair trade deals for our taxpayers, and for our workers and for our farmers.â
Bullshit.
He said he wasnât âplanning anything nowâ but if the WTO doesnât treat the U.S. properly, âwe will be doing something.â
If the WTO treated the US fairly, it would file charges/sanctions against us for the improper imposition of tariffs.
During the meeting with Rutte, Trump said he was âvery closeâ to reaching a number of trade deals, describing them as âfair trade deals for our taxpayers, and for our workers and for our farmers.â He said the U.S. would continue meeting with the EU about the trade issue, saying, âIf we do work it out, that will be positive, and if we donât, it will be positive also.â
Rutte said the talks would focus on jobs and security and told Trump: âOur aim will be to increase those numbers, to be more successful.â
Nice to see he is finally getting specific about these issues. Once he gets everything he wants from the 70âs, he will moving on to the problems of the 80âs.
Make America grate again!
This is what a decades long dry drunk on top of florid sociopathy looks like. Then again, this idiot IS always doing something. Just not anything that benefits the United States of America. Let him twist in the wind. Weâll all be punished forever and a day for this manâs lunacy and corruption.
we will be doing something
Something? Jebus heâs dumber than the dumbest fucking tough guy you could ever have imagined.God almighty heâs such an idiot.
Trump will do everything he can to sow economic discord and chaos â then go to Moscow to get a pat on the head from Putin.

Trump: If WTO Doesnât Treat US Properly, We Will Be Doing SomethingâŚstupid.
We wonât leave we just wonât follow any of the rules we agreed to in the past.
He really isnât very good at veiled threats, is he?
This article would have been more helpful if they had provided historical data from 1990 onwards on this imbalance. Some helpful graphs or charts, or even a mention of how it was pre- and post- september 11th.
Oh, itâs AP, nevermind.
He thinks everything is a business deal where one side has to beat the other side decisively. I have a feeling that if one looked at his bankruptcies one would find unreal deals matched by a failure to compromise at crucial times.
Thatâs not how it works with the global economy. His definition of a good deal is one in which the US trounces the âother side,â even if that side is made up of allies of longstanding and the agreement overall is mutually beneficial. He has tunnel vision and canât see the harm being done to our economy just out of his narrow view. Anyone in finance, big business, economic planning and similar disciplines must be starting to pull their hair out - unless they have a sure fire way to make money off the collapse of our economy.
I commented to my spouse a couple days ago that I wouldnât be surprised if trump decided to pull out of the UN.
Naw, naw, naw. Trump canât give up his old love, Putin, for a fatty like Kim. Kim is not even a 1 in Trumpâs book.
Saw this on the PA turnpike today. Appropriate for the upcoming lovefest.
I worked in Hollywood for a decade so met a large number of con artists. Itâs common to hear from the these people the phrase âweâre very closeâ or âputting the finishing touches onâ. It makes people think they have something to lose - why wreck the process when weâre very close? Why question them when theyâre about to make a deal? It buys time and raises hopes. The truth is almost always the opposite - itâs such a classic con that when I hear âvery closeâ at this point I always assume the opposite is true.
Heâs not really big on veils. They just get in the way of the kissing and groping.
Hmmm,
Ignorant SOB is also threatening NATO in language composed by someone other than himself, and Iâm thinking Bolton
âIt will, however, become increasingly difficult to justify to American citizens why some countries do not share NATOâs collective security burden while American soldiers continue to sacrifice their lives overseas or come home gravely wounded,â Mr. Trump wrote to Ms. Merkel.
The word âfairlyâ in trumpese means getting everything he wants handed on a silver platter plus words that soothe his battered ego. It also means the other side loses everything and more. An âI win, you loseâ proposition.
