Trump schedules a dinner meeting with Comey to discuss his future employment. During the meeting, Trump asks whether he, himself, Donald J. Trump, is the target of an FBI investigation.
Thatâs the definition of quid pro quo corruption. Not only grounds for immediate termination in every job Iâve ever held, but isnât bribing (QPQ corruption is a form of bribery) a Federal law enforcement official a crime? TPM lawyers, I know youâre out there, what am I missing here?

I think he might be president to only that rabid part of the country who voted for him, not the nearly 3 million plus who voted for Hillary over him. The Electoral College elected him, and itâs a crying shame

When you listen to the entire interview, it sounded as if Comey volunteered the information. Then he riffs on about the two phone callsâŚtotally not believable.
Sorry, but I think youâd have a tough time proving that a piece of chocolate cake could be construed as a bribe. 
BTW, can we confirm that Comey actually had dinner with the Dump? At this point I wouldnât believe him if he said the sun rises in the east.
