Clearly he’s ignoring Obama’s advice. I can’t think of anyone on Trump’s list that wouldn’t make Obama throw up.
Consider the source. Pepe lies and lies and lies with absolute impunity. President may have said So and So is a “good guy, but he’s a terrible choice for the job”, or the president may have said, “these people are awful, terrible human beings who should be shot on sight if caught anywhere near the levers of power”. It’s hard to say because each scenario is equally probable.
Clever move by Trump. I can’t imagine which person Obama approves that Trump has recommended for a position. It’s difficult for Obama to contradict Trump. Honestly, this is the first sign of (low cunning) intelligence I have ever seen from Trump. Oh well, he didn’t get where he is without some skills.
