Maybe Trump really is a lefty mole. If you think about it, 90% of GOP rhetoric won’t withstand even the tiniest bit of scrutiny, but right-wing media has its base so brainwashed that they just toe the line. Trump has inserted himself into their thought process, so when he deflates a GOP talking point, they have a brief moment of logical clarity and the GOP argument deflates like a pin prick in a balloon. There’s nothing holding the logic together except angry old white men forcefully repeating it … the “echo chamber”. When Trump questions something it gets through the brainwashing filter. He’s dangerous, but it’s a lot of fun to watch when he goes contrary to the company line. And he has to keep saying controversial things to keep his act fresh.

One of the reasons I like Tronald, besides the fact he is a giant tumor on the GOP, is that he is secretly a Lindsay/Rockefeller Republican taping into a thick toxic vein of resentment that the GOP has been cultivating for years. His base knows nothing can be done about a lot of the things they resent, they just want someone to get on a soap box and call someone a son-of-a-bitch … he provides that service. As long as the catharsis stops prior to the Oval Office I have no problem with it.
