Discussion: Trump Honors Memorial Day By Touting His Own Accomplishments

Of course, he does. Because EVERYTHING is all about Donnie. Over on MSNBC Hugh Hewitt is saying it’s all GOOD that Trump makes it about himself because ‘90 percent of US citizens’ are tired of how hard this country is on Trump. I’m now watching a rerun of the Memorial Day concert. I’m really tired of the sht of the media who try and curry favor with these grifting aholes.

Just sickening. Pathological. I just don’t understand how people don’t see that he’s mentally ill.

Damned good question, but I fear it’s one without an answer.

The very first clue that this tweet is inappropriate is its first word: “Happy” is not how one should describe a day honoring those who fought and died in service to this nation.

Then, yes–it goes downhill from there.

His follow-on tweet whines about “Spy Gate.” Filth. Just filth.

On a remember day … this is just all he remembers —

I hear he plans to go to Arlington today to put a wreath around his own neck.

“So much more”… and for only $19.95, I will also throw in the Ronco Pocket fisherman. (S&H fees of $230.97 apply.)

Hey, vets, aren’t you glad he got a Purple Heart, after all, he always wanted one…

Shorter version: Obligatory negligible statement about Memorial Day… followed by: “Now let’s talk about ME!” followed by misleading and inaccurate statements but designed to get virtual cheers and retweets by his mostly bot twitter followers.

More likely he’ll recite an elegy to his bone spurs.

Dang it - you made me laugh so hard at that image, that I started coughing.

I heard he wanted to carve his name on the rock —

Better a noose than a wreath.

No coin commemorating the Battle of Bowling Green, or Trump’s personal Vietnam: syphilis.

He started it with “happy” and ended it with “nice.”

All our happy dead can’t get over how well everything is going with PP in charge. Nice.

I don’t understand how anyone thinks this is ok, but people think this is ok so maybe the next time I write a condolence card I’ll just say - “NIce!”
