Just think how much easier life would have been for everyone (even Republicans) if we had elected a candidate with even the tiniest suspicion of a clue of how government is supposed to work.
I think the “resistance group” inside the WH better kick it up a notch before something really, really bad happens.
Funny. Seems like the typical thing where he gets bored with his new toy and leaves it out in the rain. And yet he seemed to really believe the whole plot against him would be revealed and his utter innocence proved by doing this. OTOH that was the other day. Dude really should be under some sort of supervised care instead of running the country or being allowed to pretend he is.

He is afraid doing so will impact HIM. It might just show the world what a traitor he is. Trump caved in fear. This is becoming a common practice but usually better camouflaged. Nunes is looking more and more like a Russian stooge. Bet the IC has plenty on little Devin and he will be looking at jail time down the road.
When close allies loudly ask “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?” even the Trumpanzee takes a moment to reflect on his decisions. Of course, they were the best decisions, nobody could have done better. But retreating from those decisions is also big time super exceptionally good. Winning!
Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.
What this probably means isn’t that Trump caved but that someone let him know he would only hurt himself by staying on course. This is further confirmation of what every rational person already supposes – that there was a very sound basis for initiating the Russia probe. Trump’s back peddling means that the document dump he ordered would only hurt him.
It seems that whenever Cheeto Mussolini needs someone to do his dirty work and cover up his fuck-ups, he turns to the DOJ Inspector General.
Yep. He finally realized that the content of those documents would be very detrimental to his claims of “Rigged Witch Hunt.”

Nah,…let the goofball-in-chief have some photo ops, his rallies (so his ego is soothed), and his two scoops golf trips to Mar-a-Lago each weekend. But take away the nuke football and give that to an adult, and deny him the presidential PDB’s (he isn’t interested anyway… too many documents and reading involved). Again the PDB’s should be handled by an adult. This is what trump ought to be involved in:

Therefore, the Inspector General has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis.
Passive voice. Very nontrumpian phrasing considering the alleged source is the massive ego that believes “Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it.” He needs better ghost writers.
This is just an example of one of the principles of Trumpism - he echoes the last person he spoke to or watched on TV. Sean Hannity thinks he should do it - then LET’S DO IT! Then Pompeo (or someone else semi sane) thinks he shouldn’t do it. Then let’s be more circumspect - but just remember, I really want to do it!
