Discussion for article #238605
I’m just so happy right now.
When the media attacks Trump, it reminds me of a line from Blazing Saddles - “Don’t shoot [Mongo], you’ll just make him mad”. But in this case, it doesn’t make Trump mad, it makes him louder.
Trump is trolling, and all the attacks from the media are just feeding the troll.
Well, don’t you remember, Trump’s a Democratic plant.
“Donald STOP!!! STOP IT NOW!!! If you continue like this, you may end up flaming out quickly. We need you for the long haul!!!”

Well, that’s true; Trump reflexively pitches a tantrum at any and all criticism. But how much good does that do his electoral prospects? Trump got into the race with stratospheric negatives. I can’t imagine they’re getting any better lately.
Trump is correct, the Des Moines Register is dishonest.
This is a defense used by so many on the right. Billo uses it ALL THE TIME, when he denounces any criticism by citing that they have lower ratings than him. When Olbermann used to criticize O’A$$hole, he always said that Olbermann’s ratings were low, so it’s not to be taken seriously. Now, Trump is using the circulation, or lack there of, to hit this paper. Because he can’t hit them on substance, clearly. What a world these conservative d!cks live in. Where credibility is judged solely on, in O’Asshole’s case, how many idiots watch his show. By Trump’s logic, every paper in the country has low circulation…so should no journalism be taken seriously? How do you check or debate a$$holes like this? They, in their unintended, brilliant stupidity, make themselves impervious to serious criticism, or debate, hence, unintentionally, yet they’ll gladly take it, weakening the whole purpose of the freedom of the press amendment (speaking truth to power). It’s the dumbest, most effective tactic in history. The law of unintended consequences at its worst.
Got any pictures of Trump with his mouth closed?
Didn’t think so.
Well he is certainly entertaining. Maybe it will continue right up to 2016. I don’t want to have to pay attention the next 6 months, but Trump’s comic relief really is entertaining.
How so—aside from its shilling for Republican candidates in the past?
has lost much…uneven and inconsistent, but far more importantly, very dishonest…never captured the energy
Ah, clever Donald gives media the “no energy” JEB slam.
Donald and the media should prove to be as entertaining and as big a ratings draw as Donald and the Republicans, a high budget seemingly 70s Italian Hercules movie slash comedy slash political thriller.
Popcorn skyrocketing…now at $100 for a 12 oz jar.
So, this is Trump saying “I know I am, what does that make you?” He truly has the emotional age of a four-year old. It’s almost sad, but he’s such an asshole, I’m enjoying the ride. Trashing the hopes of the GOP to win the White House back in 2016 is just icing on the cake. Please proceed, Donald!
Psychology professors around the country have now thrown out the chapter on narcissistic personality disorder and instructed their students to simply follow the news about Donald the Derp.

The Trump Syndrome…
Feel like my hopes & desires & fears are leading toward giant game of chicken -
… this is great theater - and it would be fun to watch the Trump hot air balloon inflate & then massively pop - with enough venom & vitriol spewing everywhere - so that it makes Trump eternally radioactive & renders him an ‘untouchable’ pariah from both a business and political standpoint.
… but, entertaining as this may be - as this spectacle continues, the risk that must concern all is that this man is a lunatic and I do not want to receive an up-close vivid lesson in how lunatics come into power. There is a tipping point where rising momentum - like a fire - converts to raging unstoppable momentum - sort of an out of control chain reaction - - - have no idea how close that tipping point might be - but the more absurd, outrageous offensive oversteps / missteps Trumps survives, the more concerning it becomes - as it desensitizes his base & empowers him.
Despite whatever Trump or the media say…the McCain remarks are going to finish him. ( where is Sarah ? ) . He polled very well in the Ipsos’s poll but that was before his remarks. He now has no direction but down.
And that’s a good and bad thing. It would have been sweet to see him pushed into the nomination by the wing nuts but it aint gonna happen. Too bad because if he were the man there would be no amount of money, his, the Koch’s or Adelson’s that could elect him. But it’s good to see American politics still has some limits. It’s hard to fathom how much damage a President Trump could do but as bad as it is today…he is not electable because of that. And the GOP’ers know that.
And who gives a shit. It’s going to be Jeb and Clinton. Clinton will win by about 2 %.
These fucking assholes endorsed Romney. They’re trying to bail out the GOP. Fuck 'em.
This will prolly backfire and endear Trump to the batshit crazy GOP caucus goers, as these shitbag dumbfuck barely-humans believe in their dark hearts that the DM Register is a totes lib rag.
Query: Will the Register demand that Scottie Walker bow out for declaring that he’ll go to war with Iran on day one? Because that’s way fucking crazier than anything Trump has said.
If Donald would only take off his shirt I could bust open the Donald as Putin joke trunk that’s been hopping around the room like Mad-Eye Moody’s locked inside…
