On the government dime, that is called a violation of the Hatch Act.

“…He had plans to fire her.”

Now he’s an accessory to Conway’s crimes too and there will be no consequences for either of them if the pattern holds true.

"I would certainly not think — based on what I saw yesterday, how could you do that? They have tried to take away her speech, and I think you’re entitled to free speech in this country.”
"Trump later told Fox News that he was going to have a “very strong briefing” on the issue and “I’ll see, but it seems to me to be very unfair, it’s called freedom of speech.”

Is it me or did Trump suddenly become cautious with his words?

It “seems unfair.” This is the standard held by the man in what used to be the most powerful position in the world.

“No, I’m not going to fire her,” he said. “I think she’s a terrific person, she’s a tremendous spokesperson, she’s been loyal, she’s been — she’s just a great person, I would certainly not think — based on what I saw yesterday, how could you do that? They have tried to take away her speech, and I think you’re entitled to free speech in this country.”

We now have it o the record from Little Donnie Short Fingers himself.

It is more important to be loyal than law abiding.

This has always been the case with Crime Families but this is NOT alright in the government of the United States. So much for that bit in his oath that mentions faithful execution of the law. this is a sad day for the U.S. Add another count to the articles of impeachment.

Hatch Act offensives are more disciplinary than criminal, although the degree to which she has done so establishes a whole new level.

My Trump decoder ring is malfunctioning.

Does this statement mean that the WH going to join KAC in a suit to declare the Hatch Act unconstitutional?

Does Fat Nixon know that a person can be loyal and a criminal? If not, someone should give him a strong briefing about OG Nixon and his band of crooks.

He wasn’t saying that when he accused Kathy Griffin of scaring his son.

“She’s been loyal. Just doing what I told her to do.”

“Law? Law? We don’ need no stinkin’ law!”

Just to beat a dead horse for a moment, but the current President of the United States has a lesser level of Constitutional knowledge and understanding than your average 8th grader.

Forget loyalty. Forget “free speech”. Conway violated a federal law. If Valarie Jarrett violated the Hatch Act, Trump would be rage tweeting for Obama to fire her.

Bingo! The more he talks, the more he reveals himself as a mobster.

As a Federal employee, I can be fired just for putting my Trump dart board up in my cubicle, even if said dart board were not so obviously heavily used. (And yes, the concentration of holes does suggest that I cheat a bit, but that is beside the point, so to speak.) Our ethics guidelines prohibit buying anything more than a doughnut or a bagel to celebrate a boss’s birthday, but it is okay for Saudis to line Trump’s pockets by renting rooms in his hotel even if they never bother to stay in them. The world really has gone mad. (I can only post this message because I am off today, and using my own home computer.)

The trick there is getting that briefing to fit on a half sheet of paper, using only pictures.

Well she does know where a lot of the bodies are buried.

I’m waiting for the subpoena to hit Keith Shiller, who literally “knows where the bodies are buried.”

And for Trump being “unconventional”, so was Al Capone, the “fundraiser” that robbed a bank, and the people who paid big buck$ to get their kids in college. It’s criminal all the way around.
