Brilliant!! So senior staff CAN’T talk to Mueller because of these NDAs! Check and mate! Trump!

All of them knew it was illegal. For Christ’s sake just pull a prison bus up to the White House and take every last one of the sons of bitches off and give them 10 to 20 just for starters.

Let me guess.

The “president” isn’t actually a party to the agreement, and besides, his name is Dennison.

Yeah. Dennison. That’ll be perfect. Works with porn stars, it’ll work with you.

No legality issues with that at all.

senior White House staff who initially hesitated to sign the NDAs ultimately did because, in her words, they’d concluded “the agreements would likely not be enforceable in any event.

There’s nothing like a bullying asshole whose “victims” know he’s full of nothing to back up his threats.

Good Luck with that. If there is illegal activity, it’s not covered by an NDA. You can’t write a contract to cover illegal activity. tRump so understands how government works…

Damn that John Miller!!

Also, fuck with the FBI, and stuff tends to leak…

I’ll wager the contracts have indemnification clauses too. And noncompete clauses. And something about not looking Trump in the eye.

The Fake NDA to go along with the Fake Presidency. Though I would love to see the “federal government” try to collect on those violations!

I imagine that everyone in the White House must be experiencing quite the dissonance right now: you’re in a job in the White House! You’ve finally reached the pinnacle of power and respect! But then there is Captain Bligh – nasty, brutal and likely insane! He might fire you any day, and if not then Mueller might arrest half the people you work with, and maybe you too!

Good luck sleeping at night.

So, as I posted a while ago…does trump parade around the White House at night in the buff with a porn actress at his elbow where some young staffer might see his cavorting with a copy of Forbes Magazine???
Inquiring minds and all that…
NDA’s thrown around like confetti…
Ya know…not one time did I hear of Obama needing an NDA…not once.

And so all of these people who signed in disbelief did so because it was totally worth it to work with the Manchurian Cantaloupe?

Even that sounds weird. All these people had other, better options right? Maybe not Spicer. Or Priebus…but the others must have sensed this was going to Hell fast.

What was the quid pro quo for entering into the NDA? Was it getting a government job in return for your signature on the NDA? Was Trump selling US government jobs? If so, wouldn’t that be another felony?

$10 million penalties — “payable to the federal government"

Hilarious.

That’s for EACH violation.

In the early months of the administration, at the behest of now-President Trump, who was furious over leaks from within the White House, senior White House staff members were asked to, and did, sign nondisclosure agreements vowing not to reveal confidential information and exposing them to damages for any violation.

Half of them talked to Michael Wolff that evening.

The other half could not get Wolff on the phone until the next morning.

Those agreements will be a great addition in a glass display case at the Trump Presidential Library.

Ummm, one moment please:

“all nonpublic information I learn of or gain access to in the course of my official duties in the service of the United States Government on White House staff.”

Now, the thing is, that information gained (unless classified) during “official duties” is public by definition.

Trump does love these NDAs, presumably because he thinks it will keep people from ratting him out. But are these even legal, especially when he isn’t really the person paying their salaries?
