But Donald, like yourself Rethuglicans are incapable of feeling shame.

“Trump Gripes About Everything: He Should Be Ashamed of Himself”
“Republicans Gripe About Everything: (fill in the blanks)…”

…keep the popcorn coming. Political suicide all over the place.

What a child! The Colorado party elders should be ashamed of themselves if they varied from the rules, published well before the primary season, with copies given to every candidate.

The person who should be ashamed of himself is the Donald, who failed to see it coming, and who got wildly outplayed by those who, you know, read the rules.

For more than 100 years, delegates determined nominations, and the rules haven’t meaningfully changed. The fact that Trump is whining about the rules is simply this: the so called “deal artist” got wildly outplayed, and is suffering from the fact he lost (at least in Colorado) for lack of playing the game by the rules.

Hell, his kids couldn’t even figure out how to register to vote. The acorns…

Mr. Trump doesn’t like it when he is shown up as being incompetent.

Such a pity.

I suspect he better get used to it with both the convention, and if he makes his way through that, the general election to follow.

Hope he’s on blood pressure meds.

I can’t help imagine how it must feel to be a loyal Republican and have this lifelong out-for-himself narcissist, lummox, coward, and crybaby as your standard-bearer. There’s that, and then there’s Bill Shakespeare’s example of a real leader, the kind who’s committed to the people he claims to want to lead, who shares their fate, good or bad, who gives, in short, a fuck about someone besides himself:

I realize I’m saying this to an audience of people who already probably understand this, but why isn’t this whole failure and whining about that failure disqualifying for Trump among his supporters?

His whole argument is that he is uniquely capable of making things happen and putting the right people in charge under him to accomplish anything. Okay, he can’t figure out delegates or how to win them. He can’t even orchestrate getting his own children registered to vote for him. He has failed spectacularly within his campaign organization to accomplish the one thing he hinges his whole argument for being successful on. Isn’t this the test of his supposed super powers of good management? And hasn’t he fallen totally flat on that one point?

All The King’s Men about a Louisiana demagogue is the drumpf playbook

“Just stir ’em up, it doesn’t matter how or why, and they’ll love you and come back for more. Pinch ’em in the soft place. They aren’t alive, most of ’em, and haven’t been alive for 20 years. Hell, their wives have lost their teeth and their shape, and likker won’t set on their stomachs, and they don’t believe in God, so it’s up to you to give ’em something to stir ’em up and make ’em feel alive again. Just for half an hour. That’s what they come for. Tell ’em anything. But for Sweet Jesus’ sake, don’t try to improve their minds.”

one more time… when do the grown ups enter the room?

“The pre-frightened” describes drumpf’s followers, and all credit goes to @squirreltown for that. It’s similar to what the bushies did in the aftermath of 9/11 and the runup to the Iraq invasion. They scared the poop of unthinking people who looked ever more fervently to them for hope and reassurance and were led like sheep to the slaughter. P.S. Do not under any circumstances look at Facebook when there is new post about drumpf. Oh my dog, they’re blind and loud and so very stupid.

You MUST understand - this isn’t his fault. This is the fault of the GOP “establishment.” Not his fault. He is very successful, very successful, you can tell by how many things he owns and he’s been on tv and the casinos. This isn’t his fault. This is an incompetent RNC and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Cause not his fault.

This (or something like it) is what keeps him afloat with the Trumpets.

EDIT TO ADD: It really can’t be overstated just how important it is for the Trumpets to have someone like Rump publically speak their worst needs and beliefs. Almost to the last one, they say how drawn they are to him because he’s willing to “tell it like it is.” He validates everything in their horrible, racist minds and says it openly.

He frees them in a way…

So the RNC should be ashamed of themselves because you are a dumbfuck who didn’t know the rules?

Um… ok.

Some people think the remarks made by Seth Meyers at the WH Correspondents Dinner in 2011 preceded by the president’s famous remarks which we know so well are what made drumpf decide to run for prez.

“Donald Trump has said he’s running for president as a Republican — which is surprising because I thought he was running as a joke.”

“Donald Trump owns the Miss USA pageant, which is great for Republicans because it will streamline their search for a vice president.”

Clearly Donnie and his staff are nothing but amateurs at this. They don’t know, much less understand how the game is played, and so their leader, Donnie, blames everybody else. Can anyone really envision this idiot as the Leader of the Free World? Unfortunately I can, and the vision is truly frightening.

What is more frightening is the millions of people voting for him who cannot even begin to discern the absurdity of his candidacy.

You must mean Sara Palin? Pardon me as I barf.

I believe the phrase you’re looking for is ‘suspension of disbelief’. If you’re already of the mind to support Trump, then you already don’t care about facts, decorum, dignity, rationality, humanity, or the Bible for that matter… all his contradictions to everything I just listed is out there in the open for anyone to see.

They should be ashamed

Tiny Tears wets self, waves tiny hands…
Mona lies-a, Mona lies-a, TV’s made you…

The story at HuffPo at this hour states that GOP Bigwigs are going to avoid the Convention. The cynic will surmise that they will come around and support Trump with enthusiasm.

I do not think so,
