Dump thought he was pardoning Andrew Johnson.
Good that someone who deserved a pardon got it.
And pretty sure t-boy thinks this is serving his interests in some way.
Mr. Johnson is “an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more.”
Jack Johnson really did metaphorically kneel since he stood up to Jim Crow when he was wrongfully convicted. Just don’t tell Trump it’s too confusing for him.

Haywood, the great-great niece, wanted Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president, to pardon Johnson, but Justice Department policy says “processing posthumous pardon petitions is grounded in the belief that the time of the officials involved in the clemency process is better spent on the pardon and commutation requests of living persons.”
So Obama was asked and it was rejected.

Oh, well, so I guess this proves he’;s not racist and we can never call anything he says or does racist ever again. In fact, he’s the truest friend the black man has ever had in the Oval Office and I expect minorities will turn out in droves to vote for him to the tune of 90%+ in 2020.
