Trump Going To War With The Senate Is The Last Thing The GOP Needs Right Now

But itā€™s exactly what the country needs.

Poor Dear Leader. He may be forced to learn that the Congress is a co-equal branch of government. Maybe.

At the least, it looks like the Rs are going to ignore him as much as possible: Give him a pat on the back, tell him good boy, let the adults talk now.

Trump thinks they are ā€˜hisā€™ Senators just like ā€˜hisā€™ generals and ā€˜hisā€™ Supreme Court. He doesnā€™t get the whole three branches thingā€¦that is why we donā€™t elect BUSINESSMEN (or even faux businessmen) to run governmentā€¦

Pam Bondi has one of those ā€œPresident Trump Can Grab My [arrow pointing downwards]ā€ t-shirts.

But it may be exactly what the country needsā€¦ force the Senators to work across the aisle & fix O-care, stall tax cuts for the rich, slow march nomineesā€¦ while building chaos in the GOP primaries that let the Democrats catch a bigger wave.

It is just a matter of time before the warning tweets by the Preshitident Anusmouth-Putindickholster turn into humiliations and threats. He ramps up his unhinged anger to code red levels pretty quickly.

Complicit. Sheā€™s hoping for Trump to prevail or sheā€™ll get dragged into the abyss with him, IMO.

Or reality TV starsā€¦Just wait till next season. Iā€™m gonna get new writers, a new cast, new director. Weā€™re going to end the show each week with a huge win of some kind. Itā€™s going to be great, terrific. Believe me.

Every one of Trumpā€™s instincts is screwy and divisive. So be it, he and the Republican party have proven that they cannot govern or advance Americaā€™s interests.

All the winning. Itā€™s too much.

ā€œYou get a lot more with sugar and honey than you get with vinegar.ā€ Or with urine, although that may be an acquired taste for some.

How much longer, Mich and Paul? How much longer?

ā€œRepublicans hopeā€¦ā€ is the mantra for this failing Administration.

ā€œI think theyā€™ve got to get a tax bill through now. Republicans have got to show that theyā€™re capable of governing.ā€

Passing yet another tax cut when the government is running perpetual deficits only constitutes governing if you ignore all that Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, and form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty stuff.

Unfortunately, probably a lot longer. There are too many GOP House members who fear getting primaried from the right by a do-or-die Trumpite to impeach, and nowhere the 19 GOP Senators needed to convict a GOP President with the other 48.

Uh, might I suggest that Donald Trump himself was the last thing the GOP needed. Everything else is a foregone conclusion.

Then again, Donald Trump himself was the foregone conclusion after the past 8 years of Sarah Palin/Tea Party insanity. GOP, you are just fucking yourself over and over. For the rest of us non-GOPers, itā€™s our job to make sure you donā€™t take us all down the same shithole youā€™re diving headfirst into.

McConnell and Ryan have only expressed ā€œconcernā€ about Trumpā€™s outrageous behavior and crazy pronouncements, they have no principles. It would be generous to call them tepid.

Iā€™ve got to admit, even though this administration might start WWIII, cause the greatest depression in history, end civilization as we know it, etcā€¦ Itā€™s extremely entertaining. Is all of this entertainment worth the end of the world? Probably not. But it beats having a boring end, I guess.

Yeah, theyā€™d best start scapegoating him and the entire family, otherwise the mid-terms are going to be a BLOODBATH
