No, the world just hates you.

If you’re referring to the world hating the US, you’re once again wrong, Donnie.
If you’re talking about the world hating you, Donnie, you’ve nailed it spot on.

I’ll get flamed for this but, in some ways he is correct but probably not for the reasons he thinks. As soon as we stop propping up Saudi Arabia, supporting coups and wars of convenience, then yes some folks won’t hate us so much. Our influence for good is sadly outweighed in many cases by the bullshit we engage in. Fact.

Not all of us, Donny Boy. Just you and your kind.

Not by me or many people. I think we’re all patriots but not blindly so. It’s like Al Franken said, there are people who love their country like a child loves its mother, uncritically, and there are people who love it like they’d love a spouse, aware of its flaws but loving it anyway. Most here are the latter, I’d say.

I like to find at least one thing to agree on with every candidate in case they win. It took a long time with Donny but alas here we are!

I’m not flaming you, and you point out righteous things but that doesn’t mean the world hates us. Parts do, but a lot of this world loves us and wants to be us still.

I’ve literally been told that by other people in other countries.

Projection. This is projection. Accusing the other person of what he himself is or does. He’s done this all along. Question is who’s the “Hates America” here?

Does he say this because DJT hates America because America isn’t going to elect him?

Or is it because the rest of the world hates Donald Trump, and so he substitutes America for himself?

There you go Donnie …Your new campaign song

The world is a vampire, sent to drain
Secret destroyers, hold you up to the flames
And what do I get, for my pain?
Betrayed desires, and a piece of the game
Even though I know–I suppose I’ll show
All my cool and cold-like old job
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage

Twitter is going to erupt as people around the globe are going to tweet ‘Loser’ @RealDonaldTrump.

Funny that the G-20 finance wizards would go to code-red to ascertain and, hopefully, mitigate the economic collapse that they all agreed would accompany a Drumpf victory.

Emergency meetings? Pfah. Happens all the time.

What do you mean “us,” kemosabe?

Yes it is.

The world hates him and his supporters so when I read this headline I thought at first that was what he was saying - that the world hates him and his supporters and everything they stand for.

Perfect damn projection from him every single time.

You don’t deserve flaming, but recognize that foreign policy often involves a set of bad choices, and our leaders at least try to find the least bad. Do we escalate a war or allow genocide? Should we risk our money and soldiers in an effort to save people? Do we support a strong-man who serves our other interests, Laying blame is so easy and declaring perfection in one’s own judgment is even easier, at least until tested.

BTW – Domestic policies also face similar difficult choices among potential unequal outcomes. Do we advance trade deals which help to keep prices low for consumers, or set up trade barriers to defend jobs and wages but force consumers to pay more? How much taxation causes economic stagnation and reduction in initiative, while still maintaining critical services and the social safety net?

Once again, nothing comes for free and there are no magic solutions. If there were, they would be implemented --provided powerful interests aren’t on the opposite side.

I hope voters think about this tomorrow and in the months and years to come, before declaring that the federal government is a disaster. Obama hasn’t been perfect and neither will be Hillary, but you don’t bench or waive the quarterback for throwing an interception, especially if the ball is tipped or it bounced off the receiver’s chest.
