Sounds like a plan. Hire a new lead lawyer to handle a major legal issue, possibly one that will define your legacy, if not keep you out of jail. Send him out on a publicity tour to extoll listeners on what he thinks and what his plans are for the case.

IANAL, but everything I have ever understood about lawyers is that they generally review the facts/evidence before making public statements, NOT after mouthing off.
