Discussion: Trump Foundation Solicited Outside Money Without Proper Registration

And Donnie wants to control the US economy? I don’t think so…

Grifters gotta grift.

As I mentioned in a post yesterday, I’m really looking forward to Donny the con, after not only losing the election, then spending years in intrusive litigation for all the things this Ego trip of his has uncovered.

Doesn’t his son run the charity? Where does this put him in the whole sorted affair?

Infinite Farce.

Last night on O’Donnell’s show David Fahrenthold, the author of the Post piece, said one of the penalties is the “charity” could have to refund all the money it received from donors. Fahrenthold noted that the most damning piece of evidence against TOG and his bogus foundation was when he skipped the second Rethugliklan debate and publicly solicited funds for veterans’ non-profits, the same monies that took the Post’s reporting to goad him into actually donating.

Having to pay back millions would constitute a delicious hit to Herr Coir Coif’s bank account, not to mention his ego. I hope the NYAG demands that as a settlement. It couldn’t happen to a nicer, more upstanding guy.

I want to know whether Donald claimed a personal tax deduction for the value of his “charity” roast appearance. Whether Trump Organization claimed business deductions for Donald’s flight on Trump Airways, his lodging at a Trump hotel, and other general costs of keeping Donald’s toilet handles plated in gold. Also, whether Comedy Central took a deduction for their “donation.”

Donald jr, who clearly not knew or understood what a ‘blind trust’ is, in the George Stephanopoulos interview ?

It puts him in the “abolutely clueless basket”, he came across as of sub-par intelligence.

WAPO’s Fahrenthold said CC did nothing illegal, which I took as meaning they didn’t call it a charitable donation. Drumpf, however, would be require to pay income taxes on the money as it was salary.

This could explain why the Trump campaign soloicits illegal donations from foreign individuals and members of foreign governments.

Dumpster cares NOTHING about real people … Never has… Never will —

Oh… unless your name starts with " Benjamin " —

They guy can’t even run a Foundation. And he has six business bankruptcies.
The guy is a LOSER, not a winner. That’s a fact.

“You wouldn’t expect somebody who’s supposed to be sophisticated, and brags about his business prowess, would run his foundation like this,” James J. Fishman, a professor at Pace University’s law school in White Plains, N.Y., told the Washington Post.

Ah! but there is the crux of the issue TRUMP IS NOT SMART - HE IS NOT SOPHISTICATED - Trump is an articulate psycho con-man - zero ethical filters - he is in a sense like a savant of con - gifted with an ability to bluster like he knows HUGE amounts about everything - but if pressed, could not even do some of the simplest tasks.

When Trump invented his Birtherism Canard and pushed it, the GOP could have crushed the meme using their Rightwing Noise Machine for good. They did not. Plus, they could have kept Trump down & out by doing this type of investigative reporting and let the facts smear him into non-existence. But it liked the racist, anti-Obama trope…for years. And so through their own incompetence the GOP let Trump steal the circus. Even JEB! had enough dough to hire this job out instead of letting the WaPo do it this late in the game. Amazing.

Key phrase supposed to be sophisticated. HO is a loutish brute who wields his perceived power over others like a cudgel - it’s usually the small businesses or undoumented workers that he contracts with who truly don’t have the resources to fight back (which is why he chooses them), but even experienced politicians like some of his rivals for the GOP presidential candidacy and the mainstream media was cowed by it.

Pretty obvious Trump only hires the best tax lawyers. . . .

But that’s exactly the prowess he’s bragging about. His prowess at avoiding taxes. Makes him smart, by the way. The money would be squandered, believe him.

You know, the mafia were calling their bosses “Don” long before the Rump burst on the scene. But he’s taking it to a whole new level. His business empire looks more and more like a money laundering operation with each new detail. His shakedown of NATO and Japan is about 2 angry tweets away from turning into a full blown protection racket.

When he started campaigning, Trump kept repeating…“It’s all about management!” What we see now is that the people he picks to “manage” are sloppy, don’t know the rules, do not pay attention to detail, and frankly, son’t seem to care. Our country would be in shambles with this jerk.
