If there are sufficient allegations of problems with the gubernatorial election, the state legislature can declare Pat McCrory the winner of the majority of ālegitimate votesā, an action which cannot be reviewed by state courts*. Along with their court-packing scheme (which they deny plotting), one branch of state government can effectively conquer the other two. And given how gerrymandered the districts areā¦I canāt even.
