Discussion: Trump Fed Pick Once Found In Contempt For Failing To Pay Child Support

Emotionally abusive, unfaithful, fails to pay what he owes – hmmm, reminds me of someone. Wait, it’s coming to me…

Really, the perfect Trump pick for any position – so many character flaws to go with the incompetence, arrogance, and rank stupidity.

Proof that Trump’s well-oiled machine is finally getting around to vetting its nominees.

“President Trump’s pick for a seat on the Federal Reserve board was found in contempt of court for failing to pay his ex-wife over $300,000 in alimony, child support and other costs.”

Stiffing your own children out of food, clothing, and shelter is the perfect qualification for Republicans.

“Fiscally conservative!”

Only the best.™

According to Moore, his child had a market full of fathers to choose from and, unfortunately for him, made the wrong choice. It’s the fault of that invisible hand, doncha see?

I thought Trump selected Moore not for his kookie economic theories but because of his ass-licking sycophancy (I know, redundant . . ). But a guy who doesn’t pay child support and is a wife-beater or intimidator must be the inside dope Trump knows that pulled Moore across the finish line.

Definitely a case of good people on both sides of that divorce.

The best (swampy) people!! MAGA!!!

The more we find out about the guy, the more the selection makes sense. Incompetence alone just isn’t enough these days for Trump.

So much winning.

In other words, perfectly qualified for executive membership in the Trump Confederacy of Evil Fucks

none of this is the least bit surprising. If you are familiar with Moore for his decades long shameless performance as a talking head on TV, you will know that he lies with impunity, talks over people (bully) all the time and seems to value money above all else (his money and that of his fellow elites) and thinks the rich and entitled should basically pay nothing in taxes (big believer in “trickle down”). He is the bottom of the barrel, hanging out down there with trump and company. Awful man.

Absolutely perfect! Add him to your criminal enterprise.

Sometimes, the best part of the Trump nomination process is watching the nominee’s real character finally being brought into the light. It’s too bad it takes nominating them, and risking putting someone incompetent into a position of power, for this to happen…it sure would be nice if we learned how bad these people were in the course of having to listen to them bloviate and lie their way through policy discussions on TV.

To him and the other Laffer curve adherents child support needs to be reduced so there will be more growth from the kids working harder. Then the revenue will magically flow back to them.

1 / So easy to say “Family Values.” So much harder to not cheat on your wife, not physically abuse her, and support your innocent children cursed with your DNA.

2 / Do you think that he beat her with his Club for Growth?

3 / He owes $75k in back taxes, too, because he tried to cheat the IRS by deducting the child support payments he did make. Leopards don’t change spots.

I was just going to say he owed $75,000 in back taxes too.

@theod beat me to it. He’s quite the deadbeat. He’ll never sit on the Fed Board.

Now if I only I believed that the people who will vote on this nomination will actually care.

Who remembers Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood? A minor and at the time obscure social security tax error ends your public life? Oh oh, sorry, sorry. I forgot. He’s a conservative white guy. I had out the wrong rule book.

Well who hasn’t from time to time abused their spouse; forgot that he had children and the court ordered obligation to help pay for their food and shelter; and just wait til we find out how much he likes beer.
