Discussion for article #238456
I owe a certain amount on my house that I just bought. Can I claim the entire amount of the debt as my asset? Because I think alot of that kind of stuff is happening.
I’m just hoping this report is subject to 2 full audits: a publicly available one by an independent auditing firm and another by the IRS.
Hmm. Did he stick his pinky in his mouth and talk about sharks with frickin’ laser beams?
Isn’t lying on federal forms an offense? PLEASE someone audit this!
These are Ten Billion of the classiest dollars in the world, too! Jeb Bush…Hillary Clinton…Every day they get down on their knees and wish…they WISH…that their money was as classy as mine is. Mine is so classy…Here’s how classy it is. From God’s moneybelt to mine. Celestial express. We’re talking Holy Bucks here. I know it sounds like something you can’t believe but my investigators in Hawai’i couldn’t believe what they were finding about Obama’s birth certificate either.
9 billion last month, 10 billion this month, pretty soon we’ll be talking real money.
Seriously, though, the richest man in NYC is David Koch at 31 billion, so Trump has a way to go.
OK…so if Trump has 10 bazillion dollars why is he bothering to make a fool of himself? If I had that much money I certainly would not be in the public eye making a complete ass of myself. Why not enjoy what he has? Why does he need the abuse?
I guess the eyes have the answer.
This is exactly what little kids sound like when they’re talking about a very large number of boogers.
The amount of the debt AND the potential value of the house (you can make that part up) together can be an asset IF you wanna run for office.
I’ll hafta consult with my grandson on that one.
were not designed for someone of his “massive wealth.”
were not designed for someone of his “massive ego.”
FIFY
Not to mention other “attributes” of comparison – that I won’t mention.
Compounding interest.
They should turn a Slice reporter onto this. They’d dig down and get the whole long form truth!
Oh what… Never mind.
TEN BILLION DOLLARS and that’s the best you can do with your hair?
I did a bit of back of the envelope calculations. There’s some dispute over the amount of cash Trump got from his father back in 1971, $60m or $200m, and some dispute over his current wealth, $4bn or $10bn.
But that means his wealth grew by between 20x-170x in 45 years. Sounds good, right?
Well, 15 years ago, I arrived in the US with $10k, and now I’m worth $1m, i.e. 100x more. Doing nothing more than buying my own home and saving as much as I can. You’d have been better off investing in me 15 years ago than Trump.
Yeah, well, I OWN JUPITER!!!
You mean, self-made-man money?
I just hate it when I lose track of a billion dollars…Doesn’t everybody?
