There are so many lies in these statements…it’s disturbing that he continues to get away with outright lying like this. The press (not including TPM here) really needs to reconsider how it handles any statement Trump and his administration makes…they really should call them out as lies and fact check them immediately. The nation would be better off if they took that strong of a stance against their behavior.
I would in fact include TPM as enabling the fear mongering by offering us so much of what moron says on the fly and they’re always lies when he sees a mic and a gaggle of reporters near by.

You know I agree with this sentiment. There is positive, hopeful stuff going on in the Democratic party, and it’s like it’s not happening because the fixation is on moronic spews and how many responses they’ll get. I’ve also engaged privately with the writer of the article, so he knows that I at least feel this way.
There’s no doubt Matt fact checks and we can also hear moron’s comments as well as go back to other coverage where he says the opposite. It’s simply the almost non-stop coverage of him and lack of coverage on what’s going on in the party we all or most of us presumably belong to. We’re not FoxBots. They eat this up.

Heard some commentary today on Jake Tapper about the rising stars in the Democratic Party. Those stars include Andrew Gillum and Beto O’Rourke. It was noted that they are both excellent communicators with an excellent message. This made me smile.
The always excitable, irrationally exuberant Kornacki on MSNBC predicted as high a gain of 50 seats.

Maddow interviewed Gillum the other night and also showed a little bit of a debate he was in with DeSantis. Gillum called out his opponent’s overt racism and denial of it by saying, “racists believe he’s a racist.” Loved it.
