Discussion: Trump FBI Pick Represented Christie A Year Before Retainer Agreement Signed

Oh my goodness…

This is smelling way, way fishy. Ick, ick, ick.

Just the person to put in charge of a law enforcement agency. (and T-rumpus wrangling)

Very disappointing.

No wonder T-boy’s sounding excited about the incoming FBI director.

So glad he was passed out of Comittee unanimously.

I’m quite surprised this hasn’t gain any real traction either. They nominated this man amidst the Traitorgate… and after all his dodging in the hearing he sailed through Committee. Unbelievable.

Yeesh. This is what lawyers do: They represent clients. They are trained, in fact, to be able to argue all sides of an issue irrespective of their personal opinions or biases.

It’s always disappointing to see people in public life being taken to task because they represented criminals when they were practicing lawyers. I don’t see how this is any different, frankly.

Where did His Porkyness the 1st come up with $2m?

Again, follow the money.

There’s our fightin’ Dems! w00t!

Christie: stunningly dirty could have been President
Rand Paul: entitled, dirty, could have become President, in his dreams, but still
Paul Ryan: entitled, linked to the Russians through Rohrbacher
God, all the rest of these slimeballs, ® for Russian

Hillary, could have been President, but those emails and her server exposed what a horrible person she was, God saved us. Thank God CNN put those emails on the par with actual criminality.

What the fuck is wrong with this picture?

Yeah but I’m unclear as to two points:

  1. What is the story here?
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Records show that President Donald Trump’s pick to run the FBI represented New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for nearly a year before a mandatory retainer agreement was signed.

Required by whom for what reason and how strictly enforced?

  1. Under what circumstances did Christies’ phone go missing for a critical period of time?

That’s what I’m saying

The Democrats in that committee should be ashamed for failing to do the investigating they needed to do before approving this con artist to head the FBI. Now that he has caved for Christie you can be sure he would quickly cave for little Donnie. I have contacted my senators demanding they stop his selection to head the FBI.

Wray isn’t being asked to represent a client as a lawyer, he is being asked to head up the FBI in keeping crime under control. If he can’t say no to Christie he certainly won’t say no to little Donnie. Damn lazy Democratic senators!

The state of New Jersey paid the bills to keep Christie out of jail and now he will work to keep little Donnie out of jail.
