Discussion: Trump Expected To Tap World Bank Critic To Be Its President

I’m also a critic of the World Bank. It encourages struggling nations to accept loan help at the expense of that nation’s poorest and most vulnerable citizens. World Bank loans typically include conditions that government cut welfare benefits and privatize national assets.

I’d guess my criticisms are not the same as Malpass’ criticisms…

Someone should tell Josh that he dodged a bullet:

Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann‘s lawyers are preparing for a massive libel suit against major media personalities and organizations, Fox News reports.

The list of recipients is broad. From the news world, it includes CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, HBO NPR and TMZ. It includes such prominent reporters as Anna Cabrera, Aaron Burnett, S.E. Cupp, Maggie Haberman, David Brooks, Andrea Mitchell, Savannah Guthrie, Joy Reid, Chuck Todd, and many more. From the world of film and Hollywood, Bill Marr, Kathy Griffin, Alyssa Milano and Jim Carrey. It also includes the dioceses of Covington, Lexington, Louisville and Baltimore.

So what if nobody wants to settle out of court? Going to trial would not be a good strategy here.

We’ve all heard of a million dollar smile, get ready for multi-million dollar smirk.
I still can’t drop the feeling that this was a setup the way the first clip was released, then the whole hour recording a day or so later. It just seems too convenient. I know, many will say the conservatives are not smart enough to do anything like this for distraction or to paint the media as biased

Could have been worse.

Previous reports had claimed Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter and senior adviser, was under consideration for the job.

He’s already working as Senate Majority Leader.

Makes perfect sense – in a deranged, Trumpian sort of way.

Trump really does seem to hate America, doesn’t he?
