Well, it’s a thing at Trump rallies. He says this stuff and the people cheer. I imagine those rallies are the only reason he gets out of bed in the morning. Doing the work of actually winning doesn’t seem to have held his interest very long.

Seriously, why is this non-scandal still even a thing?
Republicans have been successfully playing the refs—the media—for decades. Democrats could pick up a few pointers on how to get the media to follow a story the way they want.
If the GOP had quietly sat on its hands and kept its mouth shut when news of Hillary’s email practices first came out, there would have been an initial burst of media interest that would have quickly died down on its own. After all, who gives a shit about email? Instead, the GOP recognized an opportunity to bash Hillary, and the coordinated howling and screeching from every precinct of the Republican world commenced almost immediately, and the media takes notice of that, especially when it’s coupled with constant browbeating about the media being corrupt liberal lackeys.
Of course, one massive advantage the GOP has had all campaign is the overt Clinton Derangement Syndrome that’s afflicted media outlets like the NYT for 25 years, and that leads to, for example, the NYT’s absurd blathering about Clouds and Shadows. Dems have to work uphill by comparison, but they have to expend the effort if they want to rectify the imbalance.

I was disappointed HC did not counter when Trump brought this up at the debate.
Clinton could have additionally countered that “the 5th is every American’s Constitutional right… are you saying you would throw out the Constitution, Donald?”
(but I realize many citizens believe taking the 5th admits guilt of some sort of crime. Meh)

Thank you. The immunity is clear evidence the FBI under Comey (who was a Republican and is now an “Independent”) was going after Clinton in an effort to hurt her campaign.
The timing of the releases, the bullshit press conference to keep insinuations hanging around even though his own agency’s report almost completely cleared her, and the immunity that he gave top level aides, in an obvious attempt to allow them to dish dirt against Hillary (any evidence they would give would almost certainly make them also complicit, so it’s likely in the absence of immunity they would have stalled and the FBI would have had even less against Hillary), all indicate an all out effort to not investigate, but rather, to find wrongdoing solely by Hillary.
And they still couldn’t find anything. Frankly, Hillary must be the cleanest politician in history, having such a long track record in public service, and decades of focused and committed opposition to her that plays well below the belt, that has still not been able to find anything behind rumors, and insinuations of rumors.
Well, it’s safe to assume he’d throw out the 15th and the 19th amendments immediately. He’s shown a real disdain for the 1st and the 4th too. I’m sure there’s more but those are off the top of my head.
Latest report is that drumpfy took the 5th 97 times during one of his many divorce preceedings, something about trying to not admit that he committed adultry…
