Trump can be set up. He always has to get in the last word and if the right insult is directed a him he will fire back without thinking and make an unforgiveable gaffe.
God, Guns and Religion are a way to offend way too many Repubs. His admirers are immune but the true Repub base doesnât change and donât need a substitute for their deeply held, if not severely flawed, beliefs.

I would too, from a strictly business perspective. Lets face it, its much easier to moan and whine about how bad the Democratic President is, than it is to defend the disasters of the republican President.
But FOX doesnât work from a strictly business perspective. They are very deeply in the establishment camp, and Trump is a real threat to them. Which is why the love fest that Hannity hoisted on Trump after the debates is so puzzling.

Kelly is a pretty typical alpha wolf. In a pack, an alpha female knows her place and demures to the alpha male. But has very little patience with any other males.
The one issue you will see Kelly go âoff scriptâ and lash out at a guest almost invariably revolves around that dynamic. Some dough faced republican frat boy will say something that pisses her off, and there she goes. She will put up with with them nipping at her heels or sniffing just a bit too close for awhile, because the alpha male (Ailes/Murdoch) requires it, but eventually she WILL snap back.
She doesnât see Trump as one of the alpha males in HER pack. Likewise when Romney had clearly lost, she saw Rove as losing his alpha statusâŚthus âis that real math or just math to make you feel better, Karl?â

It actually has a pretty interesting history. At one time, roughly 150 years ago or so, it was a phrase reserved for boys and young men. Somewhere in the past 50 years or so, it sort of evolved into meaning a doll like (empty headed but prettyâŚaka barbie) insult for women.
There is even a bread company called Bimbo. I used to see their trucks at Quick Trips in the early morning, making the rounds. Always made me laugh.
This is why he ranks so high in republican pols. Because a majority of republican men look down on women and a lot of republican women seem to believe that women that talk down to or donât seem to respect men, should expect and accept this kind of treatment.
