She may have set him up, and she is clearly a gold digger, but she didn’t make him say what he said. She also may have committed a crime by taping him without his permission since California requires both parties’ consent. These are two lowlifes.

I agree with Trump on this one . It doesn’t exculpate Sterling, but Trump conceded that. This may one of the most sensible things he has ever uttered.

yeah, one of the butthurt rebuttals by Sterling’s defenders consists of the idea that since she’s a golddigger with malicious motives, everybody should pretend we didn’t hear what Sterling said.

and then the old “what happened to innocent until proven guilty?”, as if Sterling were charged with a crime.

Imagine this.
A murderer killed 57 people . FBI wiretapped his phone and while he was talking to a someone, murderer confessed to the crime, laying out who he killed and the methods he used to do so.

Now, no question what he did was wrong. But he was set up!

Note: I am not suggesting murder is the same as being a racist asshole. Just illustrating how stupid it is to bring up how he was caught. Who really fucking cares. Except maybe apologists looking to demonize someone else, taking the heat off of the perpetrator.
