I’m getting together with about 35 relatives, nearly all traveling from out of state at the end of this month in honor of my Dad’s 90th birthday. Several voted for the obese morbid creature, a few crossing party lines supposedly for the first time. Wondering what type of coping mechanism can be deployed.
I’m sure this is intended to hurt the blue states like CA and NY. But it seems to me, it would also hurt States like TX and FL because of their large numbers of noncitizen immigrants.

This is actually a great opportunity for democrats. Just spread a rumor that in addition to the citizenship question the census is going to ask how many guns are in the household.
