not only will it get media coverage, it’s possible a sliver of truth about Mueller’s findings will slip out. nothing is more painful than truth to the abomination.

Whatever his motive is, Dems should focus on collecting evidence of his crimes.

A sliver of truth may turn some of Trump’s base and send him to prison.

Innocent people with nothing to hide have nothing to fear, I thought.

Don the Con is correct. Mueller testifying would be huge TV. Despite being an idiot, Trump has a nose for media attention and instinctive feral cunning. He’s justifiably afraid Mueller will tell the truth, millions see it, and that kills his “presidency”.

This is why it’s essential Mueller testify ASAP.

The Whiny-Baby-Narcissist-Bigot-Crook-in-Chief speaks.

And the rest of the world laughs.

DeVos doesn’t like coverage either.

So Trump doesn’t Mueller to testify because he’ll get media coverage, and yet the media covers every single tweet that the President sends. Hey Trump, “If you want better media coverage then do better things.” He has nothing to give, propose, deliver, all that he has left is law suits and tweets.

Maybe he’d even answer questions from staff lawyers…

He literally cannot stand someone getting higher ratings than him

Trump prefers to control the media arc for the day. When he can’t, he has a sad.

Boo F*ckin’ Hoo…

This is absolutely the bottom line – not that I’m getting hopes up for a full-throated condemnation or anything even vaguely close to that, but in the midst of all the obfuscation and distractions and outright lies that Trump and his minions have smokescreened us with, I’d be grateful even for the sliver of truth that @uneducated talks about above. More than grateful.

So, the Dumbbell has learned one lesson from Watergate. TV hearings will (should) be the thing that finally drops his approval numbers to 30%, where they should be.

“If the subject of the investigation was a private citizen and not the president, would you have indicted him for obstruction of justice?”

“yes.”

That’s what Trump is scared of…

I think the real dynamite lies in finding out why and how the investigation was closed.
I believe Mueller will hem and haw, but with the right line of questioning, we will find that Barr ordered the thing shut down.

I agree with you…and, by the way, Trump has been having the worst six weeks of his life, based on what he knows is coming for him. That’s why he told Yertle to vouch for him this morning (“Case closed”)

That is not the style of McConnell at all. Not AT ALL.
